How To Make a Rosemary & Mint Solid Shampoo (Easy Beginner Friendly Recipe) Vegan Freindly

Hello friends! This formula was inspired by my last formula while going down the rabbit hole of all hair things that can be made with rosemary and mint! In this video I show you how to make a solid shampoo using Rosemary and Mint essential oils and other really great natural and plant based ingredients. Solid shampoos are amazing because they contain very little packaging waste, they last a long time and they contain really good ingredients for hair care and health. powdered sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI)
sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (SLSA)
Kaolin Clay
colloidal oats 3%
Wet Phase Ingredients:
DL-Panthenol
cocamidopropyl betaine

A tiny bit of green apple water soluble dye

What is the finished ph? Seems like a formula that can be a good starting point for different hair types just by switching out the oil, protein, essential oils …I love your recipes. Great question. This shampoo formula has not been tested for biodegradability. That being said, the surfactants are of plant origin. I would guess it is somewhat biodegradable but perhaps not 100% due to some of the more synthetic ingredients like dye, preservative and cetrimonium chloride.
