Cost Efficiency of Juggenauts, Factory tier 7+ unit vs other tier 7+ units in HoMM3: HotA

Let's test how the Tier 7+ units of Factory faction, Juggernauts fare against other upgraded tier 7 units. Units are divided in 2 stacks. Player control, no ganging, abilities are allowed. In the first part 80 weeks of growth, in the second part, army value of 1.000.000 gold pieces (special resource costs 1.000 gp)

I noticed the sound of haspids they attack sound was chomping but turned into snake attack after the major update

I wish Archdevils were stronger, while their - 2 luck can work wonders it is way to random compared to other creatures despite their relatively high attack and defense and no retaliation. In my opinion they should have 29 offense and 29 defense (+3 atk, +1 def)

Thanks for the comment. Imo the -2 luck performs the better the more units there are on the battlefield and the longer the battle goes :)

In the 2nd part of the test nearly in all rounds units stacks was set to 83. Is that correct or maybe some error ocured?

Thanks for the question. I don't think there was any errors. The unit's cost was calculated by Gold cost + resource cost X 1000 = unit gold cost equivalent. Then 1.000.000 was divided with this to get the overall number of units to the test :)

Почему скоростные юниты идут в атаку первыми, тем самым пропуская 1 лишний удар? Скорость это такой же важный параметр, как атака и защита, здоровье. Логично что юнит должен использовать преимущество в скорости

Thanks for the good comment. Agreed. The first series went kind of to practicing (I was a bit too excited about the unit). The second (cost effectiveness series) should take speed into account better as well as future ones :)

All those units could move before hitting and get out of range of the ability. Not to mention kiting.

@@qualityoldhomm-rd3yu yeah, but their ability allow them to deal good damage against high defense units, even Angels, besides, both bears and cows are best to take down super dragons.

@@qualityoldhomm-rd3yu True, but in a real game, the moving 7 tier unit would likely run away and hit something else, so the beam is somewhat balanced as they are rather slow.

He was randomly using melee attack and the heat ray. Big difference in numbers if you don’t use heat ray all the time. Some he was just doing melee, some he was doing all heat ray, and some were a mix of both.

You should've wait on TItans because they are faster and Juggernauts are forced to come close first (and titan should 've shoot without penalty) such a test is pointles.

Agreed. Though the Juggernaut ability is aoe which kind of hampers that. But speedier units could have kited perhaps a bit more :) Thanks for the comment.
