I just recently built my house in El Salvador with $50,000 dollars. I already owned the lot. It's 3 bedrooms, 1 HUGE livingroom, 2 restrooms fully equipped, granite-like floors, full North America-style kitchen with cabinets, every room equipped with A/C units, multiple windows and doors. Outside porch, both at the front and the back.

@@kbo4wellness I used a local town guy who has 3 teenagers working for him, and I bought my own construction material. I also already owned the land. I was paying him $30 a day and the 3 young men $15 each. He constructed ther house, did the plumbing, and did the electrical and the painting. He's a 1-man army.

Well it's great they are back in El Salvador if they would have hired us to do diligence regarding the water service we could have saved them from that trouble

It would be nice to see what you mean when you say something like this. Otherwise, labor prices are about the same in the Dominican Republic.

Thanks for the feedback zombie. Construction workers are in high demand in El Salvador because the economy is booming. We only provide work and workers of the highest skill set. We pay our workers higher than average industry salary. This helps the entire economy flourish and also helps people to get out of poverty. Our team also produces some of the highest quality work in the country. And our clients are happy because they get quality work done on time on budget

I agree with @ownelsalvador. If you pay anyone anything less-- that would be exploitation and they would not be able to meet their basic needs. I am from el salvador and have been investing in el salvador for the past 20 years and the wage range of $20-$40 is accurate.
@yoyo123146 ай бұрын
uhmmm I think $20 per day is for someone who knows and the others charge $12 per day. But that's why ES is expensive now. Of course, not for you, but for a Salvadoran who lives and work there. It is so frustrating because three years ago, I made a plan to save as much money to build my house, and now I can't because they are charging so much more. And why? Because people from abroad pay the double or triple gladly without seeing the consequences.
@ownelsalvador6 ай бұрын
Appreciate your Insight however I think it may have something to do with the Federal Reserve doubling the money supply in the last couple of years causing rampant inflation and the second Factor would be that the entire country is going through an economic boom and there's a shortage of skilled workers especially in construction, supply and demand is basic economics

Wow they are charging like if it was here in USA 😂😂😂 How in the heck you think people from over there are supposed to afford a house. When they only make 10-15 a day ??? Oh wait …. You’re just trying to get people from USA thinking that we’re all dumb and don’t know you people are just over doing it with those ridiculous prices 😒🤬🤬🤬

Those houses were not made for you, if you want an affordable house go to a colonia in Soyapango and buy a "destroyer" house for $8,000 or $10,000.

Your prices for labor are expensive. Here in the Philippines it's 500 to 600 ($8.98 to 10.77) pesos per day for skilled labor. Also why do you want to move to a 3rd world country and spend $100,00 U.S. on a house. Here in the Philippines you can build a house that size with a swimming for that price. Land here is also on average 2,000 ($35.00) pesos per square meter unless it's on the beech.
@adrianurrutia66699 ай бұрын
In El Salvador we have a climate similar to yours. Fruits, Vegetables and trees very similar to yours and the flight is 4 hours and $300 round trip! Beat that! Besides prices are raising worldwide! I do want to check out the Philippinnes though!❤️😃
