My Brother owned one of these in the eighties . It had a 350 (built) with a Muncie Rock Crusher 4 speed trans . It was the hottest car in our area .

I had a 68 SS Chevelle 396 and always wanted to go metallic gray with black trim. It was midnight blue with the black underline so it looked good but always thought this was the best scheme for it. Motor from a 75 means 165hp from the factory, I am sure the intake and carb woke it up but you can probably get a lot more out of it if you want.

Man,that Chevelle has turned out GREAT! I just hope that I still have it inside me,to make my 69 Chevelle look that good again. She's been grazing in my front yard for over 20 years, so I have my work cut out for me. Got her running again, with a LS swap. I can't wait until I am back on the road again, with the wind blowing thru my hair,,,,wait, over my scalp. Yep, I'm an old bald headed bas&%#d now!🤪

Both of my older brothers had one of these. Well they were Beaumont's in Canada... One of them had been converted to a floor shift from column. Worked great until it didn't. Took a couple weeks to figure out that the lock out in the column was still active and bumping the tach on the column would activate it.

I thought my 68 Chevelle was cheap. 396 ss 138 car with a zz4 with a blown cylinder, th 350, 12 bolt rear but peg leg with a 4.56 gear that’s shot, shot axles and bearings with no brakes. So really just an empty shell. Cracked glass front and back . No interior , third gen Camaro rims with blown tires, rotted out quarters and the entire firewall and cowl. Rotted flat hood. shot radiator and however coats of rattle can paint. Paid $4500 for it a few years back, I’ve been collecting parts for it and getting ready to start on it soon. Going single stage paint that I’ll spray myself. I’ve got a solar heated nitrogen spray setup that works like a charm . Not looking forward to all the cutting, grinding, sanding and welding though. I’ve built quite a few cars now and that part is getting annoying. But hey, how else am I going to afford one that’s built exactly the way I want it? I’ll have to post a build video. I’m doing it in three stages, rat rod, rusto mod, then finally restomod . I wanna have some fun with this one. It’s going to be my last muscle car build. Aloha.

You should have taken the column shifter off and use a horse shoe shifter on the center console, lowered the air shocks down some too. A cowl hood, plus a 396 big block, unless you're using a LS1 350. The front seats are nice, but you'll have to reupholster them, as it sits right now it still looks too bastardized.
