I absolutely love this tequila! It’s good enough to drink neat and cheap enough to mix with it. Kirkland Tequila or Casamigos Tequila (when it’s on sale @ Costco) for me!

I've been using this Tequila as the primary for our spicy Margarita's the last 3-4 years and everyone has been very pleased. I've recently switched to the Kirkland Reposado and it works great as well. I just can't justify using my good Tequila for mixing. (Fortaleza, El Tesoro and G4)

I purchased a bottle in Feb.2020. Based on the research I found at the time, the distillery was the same that made Grand Mayan so I was encouraged to try it... I found your review of the nose to be spot on, and really do enjoy those combinations of flavors. Additionally, I find that if I air-rate the tequila, like a wine, the bouquet really opens up, and a lot of floral notes (lavender, citrus) will come the front and a smooth peppery finish. Because of the price point and availability, It has become my “go to” tequila when needed. Thanks for reviewing... Some future recommendations: 1. El Padrino De Mi Familia (Ultra Añejo) - it’s a total wine & more exclusive and very inexpensive for an ultra añejó. 2. Centinela (Añejo Square Bottle) - Maker: Tequila Centinela, S.A. de C.V. 3. Hussong’s (Reposado) - Maker: Distiladora Del Valle De Tequila, S.A. De C.V. not sure if this is still available, but wow! 4. Tequila Me Campo (Blanco) - Maker: La Cofradía, S.A. De C.V. Same distillery as Casa Noble & Lucha Libre... 5. Cazul 100 (Ultra Añejo) - was a Total Wine and More Exclusive when I was introduced. Same distillery as #4.

No, they sourced this from a different distillery. This is a different Anejo.

I'm almost exclusively a single malt Scotch guy. This tequila is excellent! Great flavor profile, not overly strong in any aspect-I LOVE the sweetness. I don't recall the previous Kirkland añejo being this sweet, but remember liking it so much and missing it (it's been out of stock where I live for a couple years) that I grabbed a bottle right away. I think I like this one even more as I decided THIS is what I'm drinking tonight.

Kirkland tequila has never been patron tequila. Definitely never stick tequila in the freezer or use ice. Good tequila doesn't need it. Only the bad quality stuff. Good tequila should be consumed neat at room temp.

I would prefer this to Don Julio Anejo. It's a little sweeter because it has additives but it definitely tastes better than Don Julio Anejo and it much cheaper. You should try a different tequila all together. None of these two are good.

Personally find this stuff compares favorably to quite a few of the $50 bottles out there. For the price it can’t be beat. Is it going to beat the best? No, but you can afford to always have a bottle on hand for cocktails or casual sipping, which is great. I’m not a wealthy person so it’s great to have a solid tequila on hand whenever.

Went to another Costco and got 3 bottles but this bottles didn't say it was aged 13 months, batch number A-9. Haven't open the bottles yet to try the tequila. I purchased a bottle from Costco and unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with it. I don’t know what changed since this video but it’s pretty bad. I don’t think o will even mix with it. Just taste like artificial flavors and agave sweetener. Gets worse over time too lol.

I often doubt my own palate when doing tastings. I am biased towards tequilas where you can taste the smokiness of the fire over which the agave was cooked. Having said this I thought this tequila was too sweet and definitely had additives. Not my favorite.

This was a first batch bottle The newer bottles of this do have additives and Tequila agave isn't cooked over fire unless it's an ancestral (like 2 brands do this) . It's cooked using steam from an industrial boiler so you shouldn't taste any smoke. So your preference is extremely limited. Thanks for watching!

They add sweeteners and flavoring to the tequila before they bottle it to make it sweet and syrupy. Its not what natural tequila tastes like now. The Distillery also has a diffuser now that they use.
