The reason you are seeing double in beef at Costco is because of beef. White styrofoam is choice cuts where blue styrofoam is prime, which is better. When buying sirloin I always buy blue styrofoam as melts in mouth compared to choice cuts.

Not a red eat eater but OMG !!!!!!!!!!!! the size of the packaging. I live in Ireland and the quantities on sale are much smaller than on sale in CostCo. No CostCos in Ireland...but we do have Aldi, Lidl and Tesco. I generally shop in Aldi. The produce is fresh every day. I have often gone shopping quite late in the day and there is nothing left in the fresh veg and fresh meat aisles. The prices in Ireland are a lot cheaper than the USA. I have noticed that before in Kim's videos. Love, Love, Love THE WADS videos. They really do put a little happy in my day. Thank you

I have to tell you the best way to cook bone in skin on thighs! Dry the chicken (mainly the skin) Season the skin with salt and pepper (and whatever herbs you want- i like thyme and rosemary) Heat an oven safe saute pan on medium high and add the cooking fat of your choice- i use avo oil. Chicken goes in, skin side down. Cook until the skin is crispy. By this point, preheat your oven to 400°. Once the chicken skin is browned and crispy, remove from the pan and discard most of the cooking oil and put back on the stove. Saute some minced garlic for 30 seconds (until fragrant) add lemon juice (and lemon zest if you are feeling fancy. Add white wine of your choice, or just add extra chicken broth if you don't want to use wine in your cooking. Add whatever herbs you want to the sauce and let it reduce a bit. Return the chicken to the pan, skin side up. Place in the oven and cook for 35-45 minutes (until the internal temp is 165°) It is absolutely divine and its a staple in my house. Notice I didn't put any amounts of ingredients.... why would I? You'll do what ya want anyway 😂😂

I was just at Costco last night! Picked up some beef too. At my Costco they had a package of ground beef that had been pressed with something to portion out the whole thing for patties which I thought was such a great idea. The already made patties at the store are always kind of tough and this way you can easily add seasonings or press in some cheese into the middle. I'd never seen anything like that before.

I work in a Costco meat department in California, the “Beef loin top loin whole” are the packages we cut the New York steaks from. 2:56 was usda prime 4:00 was usda choice Very different from how we have our department organized, notice how they have the uncut versions of all the meats right next to the cut versions (i.e. pork belly cut/bacon next to the vacuum sealed whole pork belly)

From a Canadian perspective that was so interesting to watch!! Some of the prices are on par with Canadian prices, some are cheaper and some are more expensive (which was surprising!). I lived in the US for work for about 2 years and it was so enjoyable to grocery shop with all of the variety available. Also, growing up in Canada and seeing all of the US commercials for food it was nice to finally be able to try some of them. I miss the variety that the US stores have vs. the Canadian stores!! This video, as always, put a little happy in my day!! :)

From my experience, Costco meat is a bit pricey; especially for just everyday dinners for my family. However, the cuts at Costco are extremely high quality. I think it's the only place where you can get steak house type cuts to cook at home. So, if you want a fancy dinner at home, Costco is the place to go.
