Hello, Kim. Just needed to unwind a little. My first thought? Watch Kim bake and cook some goodies. Always gives me a good feeling. I appreciate how true to real life you are. Life's a mess...but you show us we can soldier thru while laughing and having fun! Thank you.

I am making some goodies for my grandson in college, chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon yeast bread. As I am measure, I say to myself, "That's good enough!" I stopped and smiled at my Kim reference. I love to bake, but live alone. It is so good to have someone to send it to. I think I will try the cookie, oreo, and brownie for him next time!

I feel like my eyes are constantly darting at each and every kid lol we are hoping our beach trip this weekend works out! I love seeing all the different foods you make, gives me some good ideas. I also might totally have to steal the way you make lunches for your kids because that is a great one! Over here in Belgium our "pancakes" are crepes. We don't even know the thicker kind. LOL! They are really nice, but just like Belgian waffles we eat it as an afternoon coffee/tea thing at around 3PM. Never for breakfast! Odd how things are different in different countries. :D About the pancakes, it's normal for the first one never to come out right. ;) You do need to leave them in a bit longer, until they get a little "brown".

I agree about chopping the spinach. I suggest using kitchen scissors and cutting while in the bag. Also, I think you need to sharpen your knife or buy one from Rada. No problems with bacon. Also freeze it and it cgops easier.

That dessert!!! Have you tried Candy Bar Fudge Brownies? Bake and cool brownies (mix or scratch). Make fudge by heating a can of sweetened condensed milk and 2 cups chocolate chips until chocolate is melted. Spread on top of brownies and press chopped up candy bars on top. Allow to cool and cut into small (who are we kidding here??) squares. I like Snickers, Reeses cup or Butterfingers, but any candy bar will work.

I love playing your videos while I fold laundy, wash dishes,or cook. I don't measure anything when I am cooking either 😅 One of my favorite breakfast things to make is breakfast fried rice. My mom made it, never gave me a recipe, so I just made it up. It's cooked rice (I use Jasmine, with some coconut oil and salt) cooked diced bacon, scrambled egg, sauteed onion and pepper, I've added spinach, (but it's whatever) and the STAR is to add amino acids (kind of a soy sauce) I just glug it in and keep tasting until it's perfect. It's just my husband and I, so leftovers are always a thing. But reheated in a fry pan, and the bacon crisps back up... So good!
@rhondawilliams94494 жыл бұрын
Frozen bacon is much easier to cut. Freeze it and let it sit for 10 minutes then start cutting. The scissors work too, lol. Remove the seeds to the Jalapeno if everyone prefers a more mild recipe. My family loves it with seeds and all too. (We are a spicy bunch, sounds like your family is as well.) The Brownies! OMG, The Brownies! That recipe is a hit. So glad you had a great time at the beach with a little wild on the side. See you next time.
