Loved all your videos Nanny! My Mom was a Nanny also. She and my Dad were married 66 years when they both passed 4 years ago. I too was one of Six children.... and even though I am 67, I am married to an 83 year old! I really appreciate your love of everything. Hello Nanny and Moose. I just love watching both of you. My parents have since passed and they would have been about 5 years older than you are. Watching your show reminds me of all the wonderful outfits and places that we travelled like your family. I think your children are so fortunate to have you both. You have been terrific role models to them. I am wondering if you might consider making a video on past worries that you might have had that never came into fruition. Love the blue and white tiles on your fireplace. Blue and white is my thing. My mother gave me my grandmother's blue and white dishes. They are nothing special but I have always treasured them!

Hi Ginger...Those dresses were made by a very creative woman more than 40 years ago. And my daughters and granddaughters and I loved wearing them. I was always going to replicate them myself with bits and pieces of my collections of vintage linens but never got to it. I did use the embroidered linens to make collars and little sundresses for the little granddaughter toddlers, though. So glad you are enjoying us. Stay in touch. ❤️ NANNY

Hi Maria... we know it was built by hand and we think by someone who cared for the land and tended to groves of avocado trees before houses were here. It has beautiful wood beams, 2 fireplaces, hand-wrought doors and door headers. That makes up for the lack of closets, dishwasher, air conditioning, etc. ❤️NANNT

I love lace and have it on every window and surface in my home. I have even made my own battenberg lace. I love to sew, quilt, embroider, decorate cakes, cook and make cards. I do crazy quilting and that combines sewing and hand embroidery.It is hard for me to get around so my garden is reduced to my roses. When I can get out again I will get some plants for potting on my patio. I think that you and I would be close friends. Blessings to you both

Hello WILMA....First of all, you will find many ,many, references about Scotland in our videos as we spent three years living in the west of Scotland in the late 60’s and early 70’s with our little family! We loved our life there....hiking in the hills and glens and traveling on the weekends to enjoy the castles, the Highland cattle and sheep that crossed the tiny roads we drove on.
