Hello Ms Rose. Loved the content! Would you please consider doing a video or two showing us your planting process, from growing seeds on, to creating a cottage garden from the get-go? I imagine that quite a few of us here would love to learn from you, and get more creative in our gardens, come spring. My good intention this summer was to create my very own special cottage garden, so I placed my orders for seeds and dahlia tubers, waited for the ‘perfect’ time to sow them etc., got daunted by the entire process and the limited space options to grow them on indoors, and decided my best plan of action was, well, to put my plans on hold until next summer! Now I look at your garden of gorgeousness and could kick myself for lacking the confidence and know-how to just have a go - in typical Aussie fashion. Listening to your choices is like mimicking my own, as our colour palettes and choice of perennials and annuals are almost identical. So, if you can find it in your creative self to share some of your knowledge with us mere mortals, it would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for yet another magical trip through your dragon garden. 🐉🧚‍♀️🙏

Oh my gosh! You definitely have to just 'give it a go' as they say! You will be surprised how forgiving flowers can be... they want to grow and blossom, they just need a little help from you. And the beauty with annuals is, if you don't like them, you can always move them next year. I'll be sure to think about something more 'instructional' in the coming weeks... think, think, think, as Dad says... 💐xx

Gorgeous Video! I Always Love It When You Showcase Your Flowers To US. It's like your the parent and your showing your friends that visit you what your Children have accomplished! @@theramblingrose_ spent a couple of hours while My Darling got a WOF for car, so lovely, then home again home again jiggerty jig ...and NOW the Rain is coming down and I can almost hear the Trees sighing and singing at the same time so I guess Mine would be a Water Dragon all pale blue and greens with some extra sparkles hahahhaa xxx (the weather repot looked like it was another Atmospheric River ...so that may confirm the Water Dragon x

If I had a dragon color I would choose, it would be a vivid citrus yellow, the color of my beautiful bearded dragon( from Australia of course 😉)Drax. I’m only just being reminded that you can’t have “just veggies” for permaculture, you need to be tempting in these insects and bees. So many fond memories of my dad teaching me to make backyard bouquets for my mum. He’s started growing cut flowers in her memorial garden, his current hobby. I’m getting great tips for plants to buy him, thank you! I also learned this year about how the Chinese Zodiac came to be. The Jade Emperor announced a race across the river, and wherever the animals placed would be their place on the zodiac. Because of its strength and prowess he had imagined the dragon would win - “Just then a kind dragon swooped down to take fifth place. 'Why didn't you win the race, as you can fly as well as swim? ' the Jade Emperor asked. 'I was held up because some people and animals needed water to drink.” - Dragons can be selfless as well as strong.

My dragon Deep crimson with touches of. Deep deep purple with silver tips on the ends of his wings, I have two dragons on my front steps smiley friendly baby dragons others. Throughout the garden and house and even some in my ears today , I think I must like dragons. I have made a few soft ones and have two more in the process of being finished presently one big enough to sit on my shoulder, I also love dragon books especially Ann mc caffery dragon series and would love a clutch of fire dragons of my own, lots and lots of dragon books 📚 in this 🏠
