I love these videos! And I didn’t think it was disjointed at all! Like you said, anyone that watches you knows you jump from one thing to another in order to keep up & get it all done!!!! I am constantly amazed at how much you have going on….. and better yet… how much you get done!!!

You may want to remove some of those flagstones around the roses so they don’t get too hot in the summer heat and so you can amend that soil so they’ll do well. Normally when planting bare root roses you want to make a cone shaped mound of dirt to set the plant on and spread the roots out all around that mound.

*I enjoy videos like this with a little bit of this and a little bit of that...kind of like "a day in the life" style of video.😊 No, Zeb, the transitions from project to subject and back again were not choppy at all‼️👍🏼 IMHO you (or Jami) did a wonderful job of editing❣️😉💜* *Everything is shaping up well; I know you will be so happy when the cottage is finished. 💯🤪 The catmint looks so full and lush. FYI, thyme and rosemary are pretty heat tolerant (buy the right varieties), and are perennial if covered well with leaves and straw in the Fall. Plus, they are GREAT FOR COOKING‼️😂* *Your property is lovely - the views and the wildflowers are spectacular.💜🌺🍃😉*

If you want away to kill weeds, especially if they are in awkward places, you have two safe choices other than brute force. One is boiling water. It will kill the weeds. The other is horticultural vinegar. It is super concentrated vinegar that makes pickling vinegar seem mild. It won’t harm the soil and is effective at killing the broad leaf weeds. If you want a ground cover that is drought tolerant, try various varieties of thyme. Tough, will naturalize and great for cooking with. We use it to hold soil on a south facing slope that gets baked by the sun. Looking good!

I just recently started watching the Jami and zeb videos. Luv them. Since the beginning of covid I've haven't motivated to do much. But since I've watched, i started a list of all the projects I need to get done. I work like 50 hrs a week at my regular job but am retiring at the beginning of next year and need to get a lot of stuff done at home before then. Thanks for the motivation 😊

That succulent with the little purple flowers looks like ice plant and you should have made a mound of dirt in the center of your hole and put the rose roots over it. Not trying to be negative just an fyi because David Austen roses are expensive and you want them to thrive but that is just my experience with bare root plants.
