Thanks Peter, It's all a labour of love, I enjoy it all as balance to my "day job" that involves a lot time in front of the computer. Getting that balance right I find deeply satisfying, keeps me motivated and it keeps me fit. I hope some of rubs off at a distance, it's one of the reasons for the iDoStuff website. If your ever over here the cottage will be available as a holday home eventually. You would be more than welcome even if the last influx of danish knocked the old monestry down in 870.

Lovely that you are putting the original beauty into your cottage. It looks like you found many hidden treasures. Good luck in continuing your work!

Once again - admire your energy and skill... I mean - as if a project like this isn't hard enough to do, you take the time to hand chop a beam, and use copper pipe... If you are ever in Sweden (i'm danish, but live in the Swedish woods) PLEASE come by and rub some of that energy off on me :)...

Love to see your videos show up in my feed. Regarding plumbing, do you guys have PEX in the UK? A lot of people are using it here and it makes it easy to snake plumbing around.

Thanks, We do have PEX in the UK and I can see it does have its place especially for long, dificult runs. I've never used it myself, I preffer to stick to the tried and tested copper with soldered fittings. I might be a bit of a ludite but the thought of a plastic fitting failing puts me off.
