Could NEKU be the Square Enix Character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

This may sound crazy, but what if Neku becomes the 5th DLC character at The Game Awards 2019? Joker was pretty obscure and unexpected for a DLC character so who knows. I guess Neku would probably be more likely as a DLC character after the current Fighters Pass, but who knows.

they might be promoting it heavily because this release is the last hope of this franchise getting a sequel which I really hope happens but I think its unlikely. despite the story being amazing the controls just fuck up the game, which is sad because this is the first time Ive played this game and its one of my favorite games now. If Neku is included in smash ill be beyond ecstatic, but it seems unlikely. the world ends with you is already on sale on amazon and its sad. story alone is so worth paying $50. But square is rumored to get a rep in smash but Sora or even Geno are more likely to get in.

i have been thinking the exact same thing as you man. i didnt know about the tweets which is cool, but if you look on the nintendo memberships rewards page you can get a variety of wallpapers for pc and mobile devices. these include mario party, luigis mansion, arms, splatoon 2, ocotpath traveler (which was super hyped up) and The World Ends With You. this is odd because things like mario and kirby (big IP's) are the only things they have appearing on here, which begs the question why TWEWY? also nintendo has been promoting TWEWY's Final Remix far more than square ever has in the past. pretty suspicious i think. hears to my boy finally making it in smash!

I'm a terrible person, but I have yet to play TWEWY, even though I've owned the game since it's release. I'll get there...someday! :D I find the character of Neku fascinating, and I think it would be cool if he were in Super Smash Bros! After all, I don't think anyone expected him to show up in Dream Drop Distance, and he surprised everyone there. Who's to say we won't see another surprise appearance in a different game franchise!
