I got Omega back in November 2014, on the day before release. I got 2 weeks off work for it. I completed it once and only once. I don't dare to start a new game, that save file is too precious.

This game with the Battle Frontier would have been the perfect Pokémon game.

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is my favorite Pokémon game. It’s so unfortunate people don’t give the game a chance simply because there is no battle frontier..

ORAS was a great remake, at least for me. The first good 3d gen Pokemon game and Prob will be the last if Pokemon Company wont listen to the fan and community

Thank you finally someone putting some respect on my favorite Pokemon Game Ever Alpha Sapphire!!! Honestly people hating this game was what made me stop taking haters completely non seriously and sadly because of these overly cynical individuals of what feels like EVERY SINGLE GAME after Platinum that it made me ignore the warnings about Scarlet and Violet. Also best music of any Pokemon game, playing Alpha Sapphire in 2014 was a magical experience with headphones✨✨✨

Pokemon Omega Ruby will always and forever be my favorite pokemon game! Not only because I have so much nostalgia for both gen 3 and gen 6, Omega Ruby is also just an amazing game! I know I wish the frontier was there too but we need to appreciate what we have instead of being upset about what we don't. This video does an amazing job at showing the amazing beauty of Pokemon Omega Ruby so thank you so much

Gen 3 is where I started and to this day it's my personal favorite gen, and ORAS really is an excellent and underrated remake. I think if only they hadn't omitted the Battle Frontier, it would be considered the best remake in the series.

The company added too much stuff in this game, I'm glad my nephews lost this dumb game for good. I don't wish for my nephews to play such a game.

This game makes full use of the 3ds, I always felt like RPGs did so much with the second screen for the Nintendo DS and the 3DS did the same, the second screen really let you have neat little features like the PokeNav.

I’ll never understand how anyone can say “HG/SS was bEtTeR” 😂 when ORAS quite literally perfected what a remake should be by ADDING content and blending old vs new

God ORAS is beautiful, ugh take me back to the release of ORAS. It was my very first own pokemon game and it was amazing! Everytime I hear the music from The Delta Episode it tugs at my heartstrings! From someone who's logged 700+ hours of my life into Alpha Sapphire since 2014 and still going strong in 2023 I loved this video <3

No other Pokémon game will EVER top OR/AS for me. I grew up with Pokémon from the very beginning, but R/S/E were the games I played the most. When OR/AS was announced I was ecstatic. And when I finally got to play it, oh my God, I loved it to pieces. This is honestly my favorite video on KZbin. You've managed to put into words everything that I love about these games. So much heart and soul went into these games and it's a damn shame that they're so under appreciated.

I agree that ORAS feel like the most detailed Pokemon games. Despite some of their flaws (which I *largely* owe to the change in management around this time that would affect future games even more), I truly think that ORAS were the peak Pokemon main game experiences. Most features were perfected here, the gameplay is smooth and replayable, the Gen 6 engine makes Hoenn look incredible even today, the story is really entertaining, the music has been remastered beautifully, the postgame is massive and detailed, and the games take great advantage of the the 3DS's capabilities. I would say that ORAS are the last good games in the main series. They feel like the last games that the developers put a lot of their heart and soul into. ORAS, to me, feels like the end of Pokemon trying to reach its potential. It's sad that now it's a far cry from how it was in Gen 6 and earlier generations, but I'll never forget those times...

This is a beautiful video but for me, the thing that has always turned ORAS sour is the in battle models and animations. I’m a pixel art baby and it can’t compare to the originals (for me). But I have to hand it to you. This video has demonstrated how lush the updated hoenn world is. I know what game im replaying next

I hate that my first experience with this game was as a dumb high schooler. I took so much for granted that I wasn’t able to appreciate until I played it again as an adult. These games are brilliant and arguably the last great games in the franchise (I think the Gen 7 games are pretty good still though).

I only wished BDSP got this same treatment when they were being made. Seeing what could have been ultimate Sinnoh remakes disappear in the trailer for it made me disappointed even though they were the first pokemon games I played.

While it’s easy to nitpick ORAS for leaving out additional content that had been added in Emerald, the difficulty of grinding post elite 4, and many other, I do adore these games for the graphics and content they did include and obviously put a lot of effort into it! Still 10/10 IMO. Also anyone else notice what looks like a gimmighoul book in the trainer school frame?

It's the best game out of everything passed gen five I'll say but... It's not so great to be put into the tier of HG/SS and B2W2. Those games are genuine works of art. ORAS just aren't at that level.

This is the game that taught me to never take anything for granted. When I was a teenager much of my time with this game was initially spent wishing for a battle frontier or looking forward to the next game the was to be better than this one. Several months after release though I kept playing and got into competitive instead of the Battle Frontier and made so many memories with this game, hot summer days in 2015 spent using the endless loop to hatch eggs as I chatted with my friend during adult swim at the pool, or even bringing the hot spot so we could wonder trade. Then ofc going back around the region late in the evening and digging up all these sweet easter eggs. But even then I looked to the next game, taking all of these details for granted. Of course, looking back, this was the peak of the series. Sun and Moon was great, but it was all downhill from there in my books. Each game after had some big issue in my book that brought down the experience. The last one I truly enjoyed was Let's Go. So, from there I learned the lesson to always be content with the blessings currently given to me and never ever take them for granted. Thanks Pokemon for giving me a lesson in life as your games declined into the depths of Oscar the Grouch's trash can in terms of quality. Also good the Pokemon replacement i've found is Xenoblade. In case anyone is still in search of one. The recent DLC for Xenoblade 3 had a lot of those little ORAS-like Easter eggs but for us Xenoblade fans. I highly recommend Xenoblade if you enjoyed Pokemon for the exploration, world building, or JRPG combat, you'll find it all in this trilogy. Backstory of one of the characters in Xenoblade even parallels one of my favorite underutilized Pokemon characters to a surprising degree.

ORAS showed me how impactful remakes can be. I didn't like Hoenn as much as Kanto or Johto before, but ORAS really brought the region to life for me Rip Gen 4 btw
