Hi Brett, good bird feeder and squirrel proof ,like you said nothing there for squirrels to grip on to and being alloy it won't rust and last years in all weathers. Great build project out of those gas canisters. Great video Take care

Hope it works out for you mate,I tried allsorts to stop em, tried this steel wire and when they figured out they couldn't walk the wire one of them sat on the fence tapping the wire so the feeder slid towards him

I'm trying to make a bird-proof squirrel feeder! Squirrels are "uncommon" in Sweden -- birds we got aplenty.

mate if Bill Gates et al get their way then thats EXACTLY what wewill be eating.........pound to a penny the squizzers will get to eat....I have tried all sorts including suspending a squirrel proof(allegedly) feeder between two trees with fishing line....... the blighters chewed through the line then I did it with fine wire and they traveresed that!!! its a nightmare....good try tho....thanks mate!

It tasted ok to be honest. It’s quite interesting thinking of ways to out wit the little buggers, but one things for sure it’s a pretty indispensable piece of kit. And there’s definitely other designs to think about. Cheers Adam
