One thing to add is to soak the charcoal filter in water for 15 minutes, then rinse for 10 seconds per the instructions. And of course, it doesn't need the paper filter to brew. Great review fellas.

You’re supposed to use either the gold or the paper filter not both. I was wondering how much coffee you put in mine didn’t say in the directions lol 😂

Does it require special coffee filters, and are you really able to use it without the white filters? Does it alter the taste with or without it?

You do not red the filters. Three filters keep less grind in the coffee but it does not alter the taste. Let us know what you think of it if you get it.

I just got my cuisinart 14 cups coffee maker, and I have some difficulty to keep my coffee hot, because once it’s finished in one minute the heater plate turns off 🙁

I just got one for my mom, make sure the "brew" buttom is off....then press the "auto/on" buttom...and then press the "temp" buttom until you see and "H" next to the time screen that "H" keeps the coffee warm for up to 4 hours and on mine appears on the left side next to the hour. Hope it helps you as well.

I just bought the exact same model at costco. Little confuse. The knob is set to "Brew", I press the On/off button, Coffee starts dripping, It beeps to let me know it's done. After the beeps do I have to press the On/off button to turn it off? Or can I just leave it.

Kevin, once is done the machine will turn off automatically, but it will stay warm for up-to 3-4 hours. Please verify the manual for additional tips for brewing, timer setting, warming up, cleaning, and other instructions. Let us know if you have any other questions.

You didn't do the good features WELL the camera view was too far away for the eyes to see. For example, setting up the coffee machine at a new time to start in the morning or keeping the burner got for 2-4 hours and then gone go off.

3 scoops for around more than half liter of water, and really u wona a strong cafe, strong caffe it’s a high control of head shower not more .. are u suer u need strong cafe any more !!?

Muhtawaa, We tried using the recommend measuring (1 -scoop per cup of coffee) if you prefer stronger coffee I recommend add more... :). If you use Dark Roast that coffee is very strong...a mild roast can be easier for people like me. thanks for watching.
