The best way is to get an instant read thermometer and temp it. 165 is the spot you are looking for!

The irony of using a pre-made butter and garlic rice as opposed to a pre-made fried rice is that garlic and butter are staples in Japanese style fried rice. So a butter and garlic rice is actually a perfect complement to teryaki chicken.
