How does that payoff in any way though? Triple H can’t wrestle and Rock isn’t getting any younger and will likely only wrestle few times a year, if that. Triple H already did that with Bryan years ago. I think the simplest path is the best path here. Crown Cody. Let him have a run then heat up Roman again or Gunther or Punk or whoever around Summerslam. I love the Attitude Era as much as the next guy but we gotta take the training wheels off these younger guys.

Cody's extremely over, but he's not Austin over. Austin also benefitted from the greatest heel ever in Vince trying to take it from him, so there was a chase in a way. It was Austin trying to stay a step ahead of the evil Mr. McMahon, who would do anything to stop him. It was the Road Runner and the Coyote, Vince would come up with an elaborate scheme to screw him. Austin would flip him off, overcome whatever odds he had against him, and then crack a beer with the fans. People were okay with Austin winning all the time because no one ever wanted to see Vince win. There's no heel at Vinces level where everyone will unite behind that babyface like that.

Being a train wreck, cheating to win, destroying and stealing property, brawling all the time, getting involved in matches not his business. Whenever it gets done back to him, he cries being "screwed." I hated him to a core and was rejoicing when the company broke tradition and made HHH the first top heel champion to be a long-standing face of the franchise for years to come. I vomiitted metaphorically when Austin tried to take his heat in 2001 post WMX7.

Cody gets buried if he loses again. This is what I would do: Cody/Seth lose on night one. Seth is badly beaten and drops the title to Drew the next night. Cody is outnumbered and outgunned on night two, no Seth to help him. No Jey either, as Jimmy has also beat him badly despite Jey getting the win. But out comes a series of wrestlers who Roman has wronged over the years to help Cody - John Cena, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, LA Knight whoever else. Almost like a ‘This is your life’ moment. The odds are evened out, and Cody wins a fair(er) fight. Could also see Stone Cold run out if The Rock is taking things too far to help even the odds.

Rock bottom to Roman. Start of a feud.

I predict that there's going to be a major -- MAJOR -- brawl at the end of this week's Smackdown leading into Wrestlemania, similar to the Trick/Melo brawl shown on Tuesday's NXT. Seth, Cody, Jey, The Rock, Roman, Jimmy, Solo -- all of them will be involved. It will be so intense, countless referees and officials will be on hand to even attempt to stop it, and Aldis, Pearce and even Triple H would have to help out.

I like the enthusiasm, but everyone can see what’s gonna happen if you’ve been paying attention. Even before the post Rumble promo, with Cody getting in the good graces of Jey Uso and convincing his team to trust him. It’s all been his plot to “take everything” from Roman. Id like to get your opinions on this fantasy book. The Rock still turns heel and joins the Bloodline, BUT he challenges Seth for the World Heavyweight title. (Giving that title a bit of a boost.) He wants the Bloodline to hold both top titles to secure their superiority. He beats Seth at Wrestlemania, but Cody beats Roman. The Rock is the only one with a top title. He's now the head of the table. Now Roman has to deal with the fact that he's no longer head of the table. The Rock berates him and calls him a failure. Rock verbally and physically abuses Roman on a daily basis. This builds until next Wrestlemania where Roman challenges the Rock for the World title. Finally giving the Roman vs Rock match WWE wants to put on and building the World Heavyweight Title by putting it as the top prize and not a consolation prize.

1. Triple H has a fucking defibrillator in his chest. He's not getting physically involved. 2. After 25 years of the actual company leaders being on-screen heels, I'm pretty sure WWE doesn't want to do that anymore. Triple H framing himself as an on-screen heel while being the off-screen booker gets you back to crowds that rage against whatever the booker is trying to do.
