@@androidHD360 well, Grant leans into the idea of capturing the experience of watching a film while reading. But presumably halfway through describing the cinema experience he realises that what he's trying to sell is a far shittier version of just going to see a film. Hence the laugh as he says "now what if you didn't have any of that" admitting that he's realised how flawed his logic is.

My take: Do you remember being young, reading your favorite book in your parents’ car on a road trip, gleaning what light you could from the streetlights as they flashed past, getting lost in a story one sentence at a time? You're reading a horror book, the strobe immerses you into the protagonist's flashlight beginning to die as it starts to flicker and the darkness builds more, you're reading a ww2 book... the strobe immerses you into the flashes of gunfire seaping from the faded distance, you're reading an ironman book... the strobe immerses you into his repulsers being fired at the charging enemy, truly a remarkable purchase I assure you.

my pitch would be: we all have those books we just don’t want to read, but don’t have excuses not to. whether it’s a book that needs a report by tomorrow or a book your friend recommended, we all need an excuse why we couldn’t read it. introducing: strobe reading light. because i’d rather have a seizure than actually read clockwork orange.
@DanielFace112 жыл бұрын
Clockwork orange was interesting! Pain in the ass to read nadsat or whatever but the ideas are worth it.

Set the mood for the horror or mystery. Make your own blood rush as you mimic the panic your favorite characters feel while reading the journal of the murder chasing them.

You need light to read words, but what about the spaces in between the words? Seems like a waste to have the light on for the whole book and not just the part when you're reading. 😉

Are you tired of falling asleep while reading your favorite book
@McArRuIzO2 жыл бұрын
I paused before he answered and tried it myself. My attempt at selling this was: Well, surely this lamp is good for other things! For example, while you're away from your home, you can point this lamp toward a window. The flickering light creates a false sense of movement, like someone is watching television. Any potential robbers might take this as a sign that someone's home, keeping them at bay... Home Defense Lamp!
