Hey, I'm the 14 year old kid who lived in Beijing that commented on your last video in China. Sadly my family moved out of China this summer but I've actually been to Zhangzhajie before in 2022. I went to most of the places in the national park shown in the video, including the elevators and saw the exact same views which you saw of the mountains. Love your videos, and it was so cool to see all the places in this video which I have been to. Congratulations with the pregnancy, and hitting 100.000 subscribers!
Your family is smart for moving and getting out of there

The most breathtaking scenery of Avatar Mountain isn't when the sky is clear and sunny. That's nice, but not as mesmerising. It's when the bottom half of the mountains are shrouded in a sea of clouds. That's when you truly feel as if the peaks are floating mid air. You'll be very lucky if you had gone at the right time to see this. It doesn't happen very often.

Almost all Chinese mountains have cultural artefacts and temples, which makes mountain climbing more like worship trip or museum visits, rather than just hiking.

Btw, funny thing share with you one monkey stole all my snacks and drinks while I was resting, a lot of monkeys jump around.

If you are interested in learning about China's progress and history, please provide some travel advice: If you want to explore 3,000 years of history, go to Xi'an. If you want to explore 1,000 years of history, go to Beijing. If you want to explore 100 years of China from colonization to modernization, you can go to Shanghai. If you want to see a city plan built on a mountain with modern infrastructure. For the dream city built in 40 years, let's go to Chongqing. If you want to see the future, go to Shenzhen. This is a very rough and comprehensive statement. If we continue to add the different natural landscapes and biomes provided by China, the list will be endless, because China is very large, with too many beautiful places and many beautiful cities and natural landscapes. What is the best of all this? No matter where you go in China, as long as it is where people live, you are absolutely safe! You are free to explore! China is safe 24 hours a day, bars and various entertainment venues are open 24 hours a day, and restaurants are open 24 hours a day! Don't worry about being shot🇨🇳

Jordan, I took this same cruise in 1998 before the water levels rose to the level you experienced. My favorite stop was Xiao San Xia (Little Three Gorges), and my food was better than yours. Obviously just a difference in the company I chose vs. the one you chose. Bus from Yichang to Wuhan and then flew back to Beijing, where I was working for China Daily. Periodically the guide pointed out (in English as well as Chinese) the lines drawn to show how high the water level was going to be once the dam was completed. Quite a few villages had to be evacuated because they were below the lines.

I accidentally deleted my message just now, and now I’m posting it again.「The blogger’s video is good, but the act of jumping on the cable car and the suspension bridge is not humorous at all. Both facilities have load-bearing regulations. Your behavior may cause harm to yourself and your family, and may even cause further damage in the future for the people's safe on board and bridge. This behavior is childish and stupid. I hope bloggers will stop engaging in such dangerous behavior! 🤨」 By the way, to answer a netizen’s question: Liking China is no excuse for harmful behavior! 😏

Chinese like to cook fish with the head on. That is one what to show the fish was whole and healthy when slaughtered. They do trim the fins and descale the fish before cooking. I have eaten a piece of grilled salmon at a fish restaurant in London (Loch Fyne) where the chef didn't remove the scales on the skin of the salmon before cooking it. I found that both shocking and unhygienic. Never went back to that restaurant again.
