The last time I made a ham studded with cloves for a holiday, my son laughed and said his tongue was numb...and ham tasted like dentist office (clove oil). My kids have no idea how many cloves ( and bay leaves)they have eaten over years😄 I appreciate Titus' concern. Thank you for sharing!
