Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane have been married since October 2007. They have five children together and they have a wonderful marriage. If you haven't figured it out, Chris Stapleton is just different. He has a way of writing songs and then singing them as if he's lived them. It's a gift! Here's the background for this song, which he cowrote with others. Chris Stapleton writes most of his songs. "Stapleton penned the song with his core band members J.T. Cure and Derek Mixon, and producer Dave Cobb." In my opinion, Chris Stapleton has been blessed with a trifecta of gifts: the way he plays that guitar, the way he writes music and of course the way he sings. These are God-given talents, in my opinion. I'm glad you reacted to this song live because this is now my favorite Chris Stapleton song. This song was done by James Brown, it's a man's world. Chris just showed up at this venue and the band noticed that he walked in and asked him to play with them. There was no rehearsing! Y'all need to check this video out! It's A Man's World kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqXHd6arnbacjbc

Dear ones, Chris is all the old school black crooners we loved reincarnated! Sam Cooke, BB King, all the greats that are gone now are back! My man on the left is feeling it, but the man on the right, well, not so much. That's ok, though. We are all different. As long as we TRY to understand, love moves forward.

Great reaction you two. Love me some Chris Stapleton. Although it's Country Music that has accepted him (probably because he's been a writer for other musicians in the Country field for years), I think he doesn't really fit in any category. He's just awesome. There's a fan vid up of Chris singing "It's a Man's World" ,cold from the audience with no rehearsal, with The Shadowboxers. You should probably check it out. Even the band was stunned.

Nice reaction! Tennesee Whiskey live performance Austin City Limits (cover), I Was Wrong live same venue Austin City Limits Chris original, Barely Alive live acoustic fan cam recorded in bar/supperclub b4 Chris was famous - watch crowd stfu when his vocals take over the room - Chris original, Sometimes I Cry live from Bing Lounge Chris original, Either Way live Charlie Rose Show Chris original. If u not a fan after these, u r dead inside. All kidding aside, all are better than the studio versions. Chris is a unique blend of country, blues, soul and bluegrass influences. Chris Stapleton, Tennessee Whiskey, and I was wrong, he played the steel guitar that B. B. King would be proud. You can search the net for its a mans world. By the great James Brown. The band called Chris Up out of the audience. He made him proud. Chris Stapleton is a generational artist.

not gonna lie you are right about men being in the highest demographic of suicide; this is because society has trained men from a young age to be disposable, why do you think there are so many songs about jumping in front of bullets etc. Not to get too deep into it but this is a societal norm for many reasons, and it dates back to tribal times when men were hunters/warriors and women were gatherers/caretakers.
