He was a songwriter/composer(many hit country songs) and didn’t think he was good enough to perform. And had severe stage fright, but his wife pushed him. Thank you, Morgan.💓

7:27 sorry that is where I have to call you out as wrong. I met my husband on my 19th birthday we moved in together after 2 months of dating which was 6 months after meeting. We got married after 7 years and just celebrated our 27th anniversary. You can find someone that will stay for the rest of your life but 1 you have to be just as dedicated to them as they are to you and 2 it takes effort. You must actually try not to hurt their feelings. You must consider how your decisions will affect them. They need to be your best friend. And my husband isn’t a simp I can’t stand girly men.

That is what is wrong with the family dynamic these days. No one wants to put in the effort that it takes to make a relationship work. They just have keep have kids by different men/women and think it is okay. I just don't understand where all of their raising went because I know they had to be taught better than that, or at least some were. 🤔😡😡👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 #familyunitsrule

Reference to your comment about building your life around a person is for SIMPs: If you protect yourself from pain, you will deny yourself of joy. Pain & joy go hand in hand. You have to be wise about it. Marriage is all about mutual dependence. Modern couples think they should marry, while being independent of each other. That is not a marriage. To be wise, ponder on what characteristics you need to be able to depend on someone--practical things. Chris Stapleton: WATCH YOU BURN FIRE AWAY SOMETIMES I CRY

He is a quiet, backward, shy country boy from Kentucky. He grew up in eastern kentucky in the coal fields as did I. He is just flat out talented. He was a song writer and then came out and sang his own songs at his wife’s behest or he would still be just writing songs. This former Kentucky girl is tickled to death to see one from home do well.

Yessir… Mr. Stapleton delivering again. As other have said, “I was wrong” and “Sometimes I Cry” are amazing… but don’t skip “Broken Halos”… not quite as jaw dropping of a performance, but possibly the deepest song I’ve heard of his from an emotional standpoint. Love the reactions… Thanks!

As a believer you might appreciate Chris Stapleton's - "Daddy Doesn't Pray Anymore". He wrote it in about 15 minutes while waiting on his wife to get dressed (It was only a few months after losing his dad). It does have a bit of a more traditional country vibe though.

As some of the other commenters have suggested, if you want to see a good example of his story telling ability check out the song Death row. But you have to keep the pauses to a minimum because if you don't you'll miss the story.

"You never put all your faith in somebody except for God, because he will never leave you or forsake you." My jaw hit the floor. Amen, brother. Been with my wife for 20 years and we both understand that we cannot be each other's "everything" as so many couples proclaim. Instead, we make God, YHWH, Christ, our center and everything and in drawing nearer to Him, we become closer to each other with a bond that cannot be broken. So uplifting and encouraging to witness faith unexpectedly.

Can I ask, as someone who has never fully believed in God (not atheist, just always had so many questions which was very frowned upon as a catholic), how does God "never fail you"? Like look at this world and what most humans are going through....how does believing in a being that no one can actually prove make all this suffering magically ok? How do you look at your starving, living, breathing, physical children and say "just believe in God, its ok to be hungry bc you have him and he's all mighty and he allegedly died for you so just be thankful your starving and this country (america) doesn't provide for you "???? I don't get it. I teach my kids to be good humans and do right. Work hard and be good. I don't know what comes after death and once I'm dead I honestly don't care. If I do good while I'm alive and I raise 2 good children. Then I've done well. But I'm sorry, believing in a fictional character (bc the only stories of Jesus come from a book), doesn't give me any kind of hope when we are barely surviving and this world is literally crumbling. Putting faith in him doesn't feed my kids and it never has. Doesn't stop mass shootings. Or rape. Or murder. Or every other heinous thing this planet earth is facing. And also, since there's so many religions, what God is number one God? Is there a ranking system? I don't mean this in a bad way. These are questions I've always had. And was always ripped apart for feeling so I know comment's like that will come. I just hope I don't hear the "just have faith and believe and put God first and you'll see the change!!" Bc, no. I won't. Tried. Never have. Nor have MILLIONS of others. Thanks God, for making evil humans who hurt millions of people daily. Amen. (Yeah, I'm angry. On my third day of no food so my kids could eat crumbs bc I'm a single mom in America who fled in the night from my kids dad who abused me. I'm angry. I guess staying and being abused would have been the easier route. Go america and god!. Not). And this isn't hate ok you or anyone who believes. I have raised my 13 hear old to always respect others beliefs and just be a good human. But I legit have never had anyone give a legit answer to how believing in something you have zero proof of gives you hope or makes your life better. I read to escape this shot whole world God allegedly created, but I don't live thinking that's real. If God were truly real, we'd have ONE religion, and there wouldn't be so much evil. Period. Believing in God, whichever one you rank as Supreme, does not erase barely surviving. Bc that's never been a God I could get behind. Just my belief and opinions. I have struggled with these thoughts and questions since I was a child raised in a catholic upbringing and it always felt wrong to me. Guess I'll be going to hell bc I'm not allowed to ask questions. But I'm also a woman, so I'm not allowed rights anyways. Yay humanity!!! (Hangry me is here. Sorry.)

However, If you want to see the absolute greatest live performance ever, then you must check out Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart’s version of “I’d Rather Go Blind” from their Live in Amsterdam concert. I promise you it’s the best live performance that you’ll EVER see, and I can assure you that you’ll be completely blown away! Joe is the smoothest blues and soul guitarist ever, and Beth?
