Can we just appreciate the fact that at 2:42 Tim starts singing the upper harmony and then switches to the lower harmony as soon as Austin finishes his run so seamlessly that you can't even tell anything changed? The drums at the beginning sound so real, I am amazed! Adam is a king. This of one of my favorite Home Free originals, their vocals are blended together very well, you'd never tell they're pure acapella with JUST 5 people

What a marvelous addition Chance has been! A baritone that can cover the bass range while Tim sings in the higher registers. I am a big fan of Home Free harmony! Would like to see what you guys do with some old school Platters or Inkspots. I know it isn't country, but I'd like to hear how this group adds their unique flare to those old songs. Additionally, I'd love to hear how Home free would cover The Lord's Prayer! Love you guys!

@@markmclendon8621 Avi Kaplan isn't in the group anymore he went solo. The new bass is Matt Sallee. Scott can sing bass, whenever Avi had a solo, Scott would take over the bass line. A good example of Scott singing bass is listening to Pentatonix's cover of Sound of Silence.

I love Home Free but i've noticed something about these three Country Rebel perfomances. Sometimes the bass line continues eventhough Adam is clearly taking a breath. On the other hand, you can see by his throat that he is singing though. I'm really confused as to whether or not they re-recorded the bass line afterwards. Anyone got any explainations?

We definitely didn't do any dubbing or re-recording. These are recorded in one shot and then multi-cam edited together. The audio is mixed and mastered, but with all acoustic and a capella, simple is always better so that's how we do it.
