i think its installed upside down, this may correct some of the issue. love the channel thank you!

Not only do you have the weight farther out front with this setup but you have the weight of the bucket. I think going with the the skid steer quick attach forks listed in your description is a lot better idea. You can get by with this but you likely won’t be 100% satisfied with it. Keep up the great videos.

I need one of those spears to pick up some of my apples. They're huge! And fishing in Michigan! Woo-ee! We have 8" pike! Yeah, that's right. In Michigan we measure them between the eyes!

I bought the same removable hay fork. Bent the stabilizer bars badly when I didn't get it centered properly and the bale rolled. I think it is more of a toy than a real tool. These were 4x5 bales. That is the small ones.

My neighbor has one of those on his 310c Deere Backhoe loader...................... To date he has taken out two rear windows on customers new Pickup trucks!!!!!

Ouch! I guess that’s something that you have to be very careful of, and take the extra length into consideration when you start loading something.

Being as we Round bale everything for speed and efficency in handling, then convert to small squares as needed, we handle large numbers of Round Bales numerous times, we have 4 tractors with loaders and spears plus a wheel loader spear equipped

How much do those rolls of hay cost? I thought you said 70 dollars in another video but I cant find it.
@BIGALTX7 жыл бұрын
I paid $50 delivered. That's pretty good. Most fertilized hay rolls of that size around here are that or more, but you have to haul them yourself.

You REALLY need to invest in impact sockets. I have had chrome sockets explode, not fun...
@Atoyota7 жыл бұрын
Doesn't look as if you can stack them because the loader (bucket) and the bail is quite a bit of weight. Maybe if you had a fork attachment (which I'm almost positive you do) you could weld up a bracket to bring the spear closer in.
@joeworden8257 жыл бұрын
I'd opt for the quick attach on the frontend loader. Once you get moving around you'll find you start bouncing around a lot on the uneven ground(more stress on the equipment). Yes! toys are expensive.......... but so are repairs and repairs come at the most inconvenient times. JMHO
@BIGALTX7 жыл бұрын
Yep... I've about made up my mind to take this back and go with quick attach.

Them bucket mount bale spears are junk and wonk take long and you will bend up your bucket
@BIGALTX Жыл бұрын
I didn’t have it very long. I took it back. I think you are right about it being low quality.
@tomhickman10062 ай бұрын
I've seen them braced from the top of the bucket to the spear. This will spead out the load. That should help.
