It is very pleasant to my eyes. I think it is the big porch and big carport that balances it out. Somehow that lime green color it's painted adds to it. It is also perched at the most perfect spot. The interior does not have that cluttered look like most tiny homes I've seen, yet it holds much. How does one achieve such a balance? Amazing.

This was probably one of my favorite videos of Tiny homes content honestly... What's so cool about these tiny homes is that if you end up needing more room you can buy another shipping container and build it onto your main home,so if they do decide that that was t children in a few years or so then that's all they would have to do AND it would STILL be cheaper than either buying a "normal" house or moving into a bigger one!! I just love the idea of shipping container homes,I would love to have the money to build one and be able to afford living during the time it takes to build them, unfortunately my hubby is the only one working right now and times getting tough again, with has prices skyrocketing along with food and other necessities SMH it's been really hard to save much.. We even had to go into our savings and use some of it, it's just so disappointing.. Rent alone is $1,200 and then there's water/electric,internet,2cell phones, car insurance,1 cat and 1 dog that we spoil, plus ourselves and whatever we might need ya know? Anyways sorry I just said more than I needed to LOL I'm really just pointing out the fact that if I didn't have the obligation of paying all of these bills and I could just save all of the money my husband makes that we surely COULD afford to buy & build a shipping container into a home, especially if my hubby and I did like this couple did to save money.. And I am a firm believer in "if it doesn't get used then you don't need it" having things that do not serve a purpose,to me is basically hoarding... BEAUTIFUL HOME guys☺💋🧡

Wow to this young couple who not only tried something new, that would require lots of different skills, but werent afraid. They accomplished WAAAAAY more than making a SUPER Container home down to the last detail! they have laid the foundation for a very happy relationship, set themselves up financially so young (a Jump on most others), but they also built self confidence and learned so many skills that 'sky is the Limit' for these 2. They havent grasped it all yet, they dont see the big picture yet, but I do bc these 2 are a lot like me & I was doing what came natural- Designing America's electric grid by day & flipping houses after work & weekends, between my other hobbies. I had no idea how it would affect my future, promotions, friends, constant learning - it cemented my future. These 2 will be working on another project, I can tell you! 👍👏

I'm watching as many of these videos as I can, collecting ideas that will fit my own tiny house goals. One thing I love about tiny houses and the people who build/inhabit them is that there really does seem to be so much room for personalization and adaption to fit the needs of the owners. I especially love stories about people who own the land where their homes are located, because for me, one of the primary reasons to go tiny is to be independent, and how on earth would it serve that purpose to build a lovely tiny home and then have to rent a place to park it? If I wanted to be at the mercy of a landlord, I'd rent an apartment. If I decide to skip buying land, it will be as a full-on nomad, with a customized RV or skoolie. No leases for me. Not ever again.

Looks like a great case for rain water collection onsite. Y’all could add some gutters and filter / UV sanitation light and be good to go during the rainy season. And adding another tank or three could make an infinite loop of water happen.

I was so very inspired by so many things you two did in your build, what you had to overcome, learned and how you feel as a team! As for design, excellent use of your space, how you designed the function into beautiful, tasteful elegance! Your tiny home has a calm peaceful feeling and does not feel confined but spacious. Great work you two!!!
