That " no honor " cuz of brutality sht was never part of the bushido/ samurai code irl btw. Thats just silly.

What do you mean? It’s also like that in the game. Jin’s father was brutal and yet was considered a good Samurai. Like, he expected every one of his men to bring him a head when he was on Iki island, killing the pirates and the people close to them. Pretty sure everyone on that island consider Samurai to be very cruel. Either the game was contradicting itself or Jin’s father and uncle have a very different idea on what’s fine or not. But besides that, I don’t know. Maybe stealth was fine in real life unlike in the game, for example.

Shimura has his flaws but overall he’s a badazz mofo he would rather die than resort to any type of dishonorable ways he just runs up declaring and announcing his presence and there ain’t nothing you can do about it lol certified boss shimura man, everyone can play this game like a stealthy ninja it’s great who doesn’t love that, but playing this game like shimura as samurai that is the most challenging most badazz way to play the game!!🔥
