5:08 - Armor does matter a lot in half-heart, if you can get damage reduction over 50% (toughness from diamond boots + helmet helps a ton, plus gold chest/pants) for small amounts of damage, you can safely take a half heart hit like a 3-block drop or mostly-blocked bed explosion.
