Learn how to describe your subject and evoke an emotional response through watercolours. This is a structured course with 4 classes, designed and taught by professional watercolour artist Ian Fennelly (@ianfennelly). Ian will show you how to really look at an image and establish a composition. From structure to tone, patterns and details, at the end, you will have a deeper understanding of the medium and the process.
COURSE'S OBJECTIVES:
• To see and notice things before putting pen onto paper;
• To use pencils to establish a simple structure and composition;
• To use watercolours to help create both a descriptive and emotional response to the subject;
• To use fineliners to help discover and record the detailed street furniture;
• To let the picture breathe and focus attention on key areas.

Much as I adore Ian Fennelly's work and would love to participate in these classes, the cost is unfortunately far out of reach for this elderly retired lady on a fixed income. I am afraid that I shall have to put this on my bucket list. Thankfully, I have learned ever so much from his many generous appearances here and on several other venues. His work is delightful!!!👩‍🦳🖌️
