Hi Saeed.. Great reaction. There is no other voice in music like Courtney's. You hear one note and you know it's her. Not only is she completely unique, but she has one of the most beautiful and versatile voices in all of music. Hard to believe that the person who is singing this gorgeous ballad is the same person that most of the world knows as this incredible stage dominating rocker. One of the many things that makes Courtney so special as an artist. I think this incredible song and performance gets to everyone who hears it. The song itself is so raw and powerful and Courtney sings with so much passion that this goes straight to the heart. Then you add the intensity of this incredible video on top of it. If you don't feel the pain and anguish this song and video conveys, then you don't have a pulse. I don't know how many times I've listened and watched this so far, but even when I know what's coming, it doesn't get any easier. What Courtney can do both vocally and visually never ceases to amaze. BTW, I thought the ending with the phone ringing and Courtney answering was brilliant. It's left an open question as to who's on the other end, but it ends a song full of pain and angst with a feeling of hope for everyone that has just gone on this heavy emotional ride with Courtney .

This song gets me every time. Such a heartbreaker, and so well sung. Personally, she really gives me Meat Loaf energy, when he sang songs like Objects In The Rear View Mirror and I Will Do Anything For Love... Such beautiful, raw emotions.

Thank you for your very thoughtful reaction to this incredible song written and performed by Courtney. For me she is the most exciting singer to come along for many years indeed I feel the world has waited several decades for her once in a lifetime voice. Courtney puts so much emotion into her songs and she feels every word. She is the very best of the best.

I watched a video of a husband-wife pair reviewing this song. The wife said she'd been expecting a lightweight "my boyfriend ghosted me" song. When it ended, she had tears streaming down her face as she looked up to the ceiling and she was unable to talk for about a minute, so her husband had to take over - and he was crying too. Courtney can write VERY powerful stuff.

To complete the rollercoaster ride (if it is still open), you should also check out her other ATP performances (all sensational - absolutely a ramrod) and then her live cover session, where she interprets all the songs in her own style (destroyed) Best regards from Germany

To some, it was a break up. Others, it was someone who died. But it could mean a different thing to every listener.

Love your reaction! It's another song that shows off her range of styles. Her other original release is the only one of the 5 from last year without an official video but the official audio is well worth it all by itself. I don't know if you have reacted to Jim Croce or not, but he is a great story teller and a classic in folk music. Requests or suggestions. 1. You don't mess around with jim. 2. Bad bad Leroy brown 3. Rapid Roy
