I did not know the song before. I listened and the original is very good but Courtney takes the song and does something new. Courtney is a great talent and her confidence is growing. Great cover I can not get enough. I would love to take Courtney to my iPod.

Many voices of other performers have been ascribed to Courtney, but she really is unique and can sound different on different songs and occasions, but always is identifiably Courtney. She's her own voice, and, at 15 it is still burgeoning!

I think the message has sunk in when trying to compare her to someone else. There is no point trying, because there is nobody anywhere close to Courtney and her passion, her emotion, her presence, drama. She is the complete package, the only one you can compare Courtney to is Courtney.

Honestly, to me Courtney is Courtney and that's it. She was only 14 belting this out. My gut says we are watching the birth of a potential generational talent. She doesn't fit into the mainstream pop/hip hop/rap culture. She is raw, powerful, and takes us back to the old school rockers who went on stage unfiltered and were themselves. She is simply amazing.

That's all you need to do good musik. One or two talented musicians and a singer that burn down every stage! I will realy like to go on a concert of these three. They are phantastic. Courtney has a voice with many influences. Her soft tones are reminiscent of Alanis Morrisette. Her growl is very similar to Janis Joplin, which is who most people compare her to. Her scream reminds me of Axel Rose. I have never been able to place who her falcetto reminds me of. The fact is she has a voice full of passion and soul.

Your getting the Adele vibes because Courtney and Adele both have those deep emotions when they sing. But Courtney is more Rock and gritty, but the way they feel the songs they are singing emotionally is similar.
