I absolutely agree with you about the taste of the grass finished. I just can't get past the taste not to mention it seems to be leaner than the grain finished 😊. Great video Courtney ❤

Me too. I ordered meat from a grass fed meat company. I just couldn’t finish it because of the gamey taste. Back to my local butcher.

Thx for reminding me of not drinking alcohol. Can never have a tipple again. Just can’t moderate. Great tips, Courtney. 👏

I gave up cheese for April BUT I allowed myself to have heavy whipping cream. I'd measure 1 TBS a day and some Sundays I'd splurge and have 2 TBS. I'll take it a little easy on cheese in May.

Very very useful info. Great video🩷prioritizing adequate stomach acid by like you said chewing food and not drinking liquids with meals can do wonders for gut health as well! It’s often the simple things can make a huge difference.

I love hearing the way that you explained how to eat your meat and to get the right amount of protein and fat. I love the phrase eat the rainbow of the animals, that's amazing! I got so sick of hearing at the rainbow of the vegetables that did nothing for me, but with the meat I think it's great, with prioritizing beef of course, but it's okay to add in the extra meats as well. I like Laura's Spath she uses the beef as a priority, and may decide to add a different kind of meat as side, for a variety..

I prefer grass fed finished beef I have 14 pounds delivered every 6 weeks at a locked in price, I don’t get sniffles like I do with aged meat, I shop for specials at the supermarket.

@@CourtneyLuna I started out making liver pate, I could eat it all my body craved it, now I cannot stand the taste of liver. 🤣 Our bodies tell us what they want and don’t want.

i continue to hear from various carnivore doctors to simply eat until full, that the body will que you in, and this makes sense..👍

I would agree, but if someone is on meds that cause water retention or causes increase in hunger, they won’t be able to gauge that very well.

Going on month 4 carnivore with zero weight loss. I’m devastated. I tracked macros for 2 months, stayed between 70/30 and then 80/20 of fat to protein ratio. Then month 3 focused on mostly protein rather than high fat, also did nothing for my body shape, size, and weight. I worked out 3-4 days a week weightlifting and cardio. I walk every single day for a minimum of 30 minutes ( have a high energy dog who needs walking every day so it happens without fail lol). Overall it’s just so disappointing, I put massive amounts of time, energy, and money into giving this diet my best shot and no weight loss happened.

It’d probably be better to measure yourself instead because you could just be changing your body composition.
@LaurenForster3 ай бұрын
Don't look at the scale as a main indicator,look at yourself in the mirror and take measurements.

Unless your a body builder and want to lean bulk then get shredded. Then you wanna track. Otherwise I totally agree with you.

Day 18 of Carnivore. I'm trying to lose weight and I know it's different for everyone but my journey feels slower than others. I'm not sure if it's the intermittent fasting that I'm doing with the diet or if it's the amount of meat/fat/ per meal. I have two meals a day. Strictly beef, eggs, pork belly, chicken wings/thighs with salt and a sprinkle of black pepper. I only drink water with Keto Chow. I feel like I'm doing all the right things but I'm not sure either. Other info about me.. I'm at a desk job and I have a 2 year old so finding time to exercise is challenging. Any help is appreciated.

No clue what a macro even is lol

Protein, fat, and carbs are macronutrients. Micronutrients are vitamins and minerals. "Macros" is a slang word for macronutrients.
