No. Uncontrolled airports don't require radios. The FARs specifically say it's See and Avoid.

My dad had a couple quicksilvers back in the 90s. Is yours 2 or 3 axis? I'm really not a fan of the 2 axis. Probably because I leaned on a 3.

I have a quick question. If an ultralight goes faster than 65mo would i then beed a pilots license?

Generally ultralight speeds over 70 MPH will exceed the aircraft never exceed speed limit (Vne). When that happens, the ultralight may structurally tear itself apart. While not true for ALL ultralights, exceeding 65 MPH isn't something you really want to do. Many ultralights may not even hit 65 on level flights.
