What if you communicate what you want and they do it but not in the way you like it and you tell them exactly how you like it but to them it’s like well I did it but just not to your standards like half assed…is that having too much expectation or am I too hard to please?

Try the compliment approach… “I really liked it when you did blank and I’d also really like it if you did blank.” From my perspective, I would say it ultimately depends on the situation whether or not you have “too high of expectations.”
