Judge Scott Green sentenced Robin Howington to 22 years in prison for the shooting death of her daughter Destiny, saying he did not believe Howington’s claim that her 2-year-old son fired the weapon. “I will never believe that. I don’t think you were honest with the jury about that,” Judge Green told a tearful Howington Friday as he issued his sentence. “You are not the victim in this case.”

not a tear came from her eyes, she is the biggest lyer in the world, since when does a 2 year old get a gun off a shelf and pull the trigger, it is hard for an adult to pull the trigger does she think we are all so dumb we can't see thru that, the 2 year old is barely walking let along he climbs up or puts on her high heels like she said and reaches up and gets a gun then runs out and shoots his sister, what a laugh, she is such an idiot. they should have tested the little 2 year old who does not have a full vocabular yet, see what he can do or maybe that would be stupid because most people would know that the 2 year old could not do what she said.

That is what I thought. Guess the judge has never owned a firearm. I own one and never fired it but I know better than that. It takes some strength to pull a trigger. Mine does not have a safety but I keep it in a gun safe or on top of my China cabinet when my grandsons are around. When we visit them we place it on their refrigerator. Just dumb. I have even some to my oldest grandson, just turned six. If you want to know about our firearms just ask. I told him to ask before and we will show him the firearm but he is not to handle them without us. Not that he could even pull the trigger on mine but I am not taking chances. I don’t understand how they think a two years old pulled a trigger. Boggles the mind! 🤦‍♀️

@@susiefoxy8130 A firearm shots no one. Why is it this administration wants to give guns to illegal aliens and take the from law abiding citizens. Most of those killings are from people that obtain guns illegally. Not always, sometimes an intruder gets shot. Let me share a story. A new mother who also happened to be a new widow was on her home when two men tried to break in. She was on the phone with 911. If she would not have shot the intruders her baby and her would have probably been killed or worse. Her husband died overseas.

I was disappointed that during the victim impact, the dad spoke more about how his relationship with her affected him than about how he was emotionally effected by the death of his daughter. He seems to want vengeance more than anything else. He blames everybody else for not telling him where his daughter was over a 7 month period but where was he? It just seems everybody failed this little girl. I hope she is happy in heaven now. 🙏

Exactly. She's only remorseful for herself. She "real-cried" when her attorney was talking about her being the victim and then fake--cried when her daughter's death was discussed. He’s a 2 year old. She knew he’d never be charged or blamed. What would she be protecting him from? She’d be charged with negligence and child endangerment for him having access and playing with it. Thats less time than murder, so it makes complete sense she would try that when the other two reasons didn’t work. None of these reasons are even true, and I haven’t even watched this trial. Not worth my time. Lock her up, move on.

She said that the two-year-old got the gun, and the camera recorded her tossing her ‘friend’s gun under the shrubbery. But she hasn’t learned how to safely keep a firearm from her two-year-old after such a tragedy? Someday the son, after going back to his father, will have to be told the truth: his mother not only killed his sister out of spite and cruelty, but tried to tell the police that his father killed his daughter, before telling them that her two-year-old did it. Sit up straight, this is a bad day of judgement. No more fancy hair straighteners for this woman.

Just saw this, cannot believe the Judge says he placed “great significance” on her sentence but then gives her like 35 years, THEN puts them concurrently to only 22 years, so basically ONE charge, after she only has to do 85% she’s out in 18.5 yrs,,not up for parole, she gets out!! What a RIDICULOUS sentence for this low selfish, drugged up,pos. Not justice for that little girl! That’s not even on our justice system this is on this lenient Judge! 🤬 Awful!

It is so sad that murdering child would only merit such a short prison sentance. Our country continues to fail our most precious, our future, our children. Tears for the most innocent and most vulnerable gone to soon.

Real time to serve us about 17 years now! For a child life! Concurrent! She could have added 20 more crimes to her already 20 and still get less than 20 years. How is that justice. Everything she did was awful, every lie, every justification & blame, hiding evidence, insane stories! She should pay the dad’s attorney fees in restitution . I liked this judge until his sentencing. He made her day, for sure! Her ugly pound friend & fake crying was gone then. This way too little of a sentence was shocking!

Remember she said that her 3yr old son pushed a stool to the closet, put on high heels because he was too short to reach the gun, climbed on the stool with the heels on, got the gun, walked to the living room and shot the other child. Then the mom said a random black man walked into the house shot the kid and ran out. Then she said it was the baby daddy not a random. Then she said it was Gavin.. Then she threw the gun into a bush and said she didn't know where it was. Then she said she has PTSD. Where's the truth hm ?

I remember how her story changed so many times and she still only got 22 years, there is something wrong there, life life without parole. do it over judge have more control, take a look at the lies, none of them made sense you should have been be able to figure that it was her all along, judge you need to be more careful, I think you made a bad mistake with 22 years.

Everyone says why do they fight to get them back? Simple MONEY! Food stamps and money. Sick sick sick. Food stamps.

When I think of all the loving families looking to adopt it breaks my heart. Both these kids could've been in loving, safe, amazing homes. I know because after I gave birth to two of my own biological children, I was lucky to have adopted a baby from my cousin who knew she couldn't raise him right. That led us to adopting another baby only a few months later. They have been SUCH A HUGE, HUGGE BLESSING to us. Hearing from the mother & the father I just feel like these kids would've been better off adopted. She's selfish and careless, but so was the father. All he's talking about is him. Both continue to blame other people. May this baby girl rest in peace now & forever 🙏🏼
