They did do a toxicology. It's part of the autopsy. But they only test for certain things like drugs, alcohol, and medications. They test for other substances if there is a reason to. There's no possible way to test for everything that someone could have in their blood. It would take a very long time and would be very expensive. For random poisons the police or the family can request that the person be tested but they would have to know the name of the substance, and there are still many kinds that there is no test to detect and some that exit the bloodstream quickly. No one was incompetent and there is nothing to fire anyone for or sue for. Maybe you should visit your nearest library and pick up a couple of books so that you can be less ignorant.

First of all the medical examiner has to show a suspicion of poisoni g before police are willing to get in olved . If not the insurance goes through the victim is cremated or buried and everybody moves on. The second murder didn't go as smoothly so questions were raised and investigation started. One could probably do a similar poisoning of spouse and get away with it.

I don't understand why people want to forgive the killer of their loved ones. The killers don't deserve forgiveness.
@mdgggf0518 Жыл бұрын
Because forgiveness is a choice, it's not a feeling. It doesn't condone what they did or make it "ok". But when you hold hatred/unforgiveness in your heart, it essentially "poisons" and imprisons you. It can tear you up, it doesn't hurt the person you have unforgiveness toward. But it sets you free, not the criminal. If you hold onto unforgiveness it can literally begin to affect you mentally and emotionally to where it can even cause you to become physically ill yourself. This is my understanding of the "why" people forgive. The killer definitely deserves to go to prison and be held completely accountable for what they did.
