I'm disappointed at court tv bring all these after the fact critics to put down the jury. The jury did the right thing. When he went back in it was only at the request of the 911 operator who obviously felt bad that the police still hadn't arrived. If there had been a quick response there wouldn't have even been a trial.Kudos to the jury.May the boy have some peace now.

This man defended his family and his house. Dude should’ve left. He BROKE into Brian’s safe space. His children were in that very home. Those 8 minutes aren’t relevant! Period. How could Brian know what the guy might have had in his pockets,( turned out he had handcuffs and a knife ) he threatens Brian’s life even after he’s been shot. Brian likely thinking this is some methed out crack head was likely on an adrenaline rush of fight not flight. He shouldn’t have to run from his own home. He’s he intruder should. Jury got it correct. The prosecution shouldn’t have brought this and he he police bamboozled him. He needed an attorney from the jump!

The host, who's a former judge, was shocked at the verdict. The guests accused the jurors of rendering a verdict based on 'pure emotions'. If someone breaks into your home, at night, when they know you're there, attacks you, are obviously trying kill you, then what? Are you supposed to start giving a s*it about that person's well-being. That's just not realistic. It's just not real life!!!! You are enraged, outraged and most likely still in shock. You, naturally feel nothing but contempt for the creature that broke into your home and just tried to kill you.

What the hosts and attorneys aren’t saying is per camp’s trial testimony 911 sent camp back into the house to check on letendre. That’s how the second shot happened after 8.5 minutes. If 911 hadn’t sent camp back in, letendre might be alive today. How can 911 have thought it’s a good idea to send camp back in to check on the guy who was trying to kill him?? I was shocked when I heard that.

The jury got it right! Shame on the government for even bringing charges. So happy he can put that horrible night/event behind him and be with his children and family

Couldn’t be happier for this young gentleman who has suffered a traumatic experience and suffered under the justice system for too long! Finally he can hopefully put his life back together and live in peace. Can only imagine how difficult it must be for him to sleep without having nightmares about what happened in his own home with his children so close by. Very obvious he didn’t want to kill anyone but just protect himself and his family.

If I am ever under attack, I can only hope to have someone like Brian Camp to protect me. He fought for his life and should not have been prosecuted for it.
