Defendant tortured Cory. Defendant has a wrap sheet, including assaults. He's family didn't go to to Cory's tuneral, nor did they pay towards his funeral. I think Defendant's father + mother has pulled strings to try to keep him out of jail, won't face up to what he is - makes you wonder what sort of cop he was. Defendant's lawyer can shout, bully as much as he wants - he is going down. May the Defendant never see the light of day again, his parents will loose their home etc before they accept Defendant is a murderer. Name shame the Judge who was complicate along with rest. From what the Me said, Corey death was a homicide caused by blunt force Trauma to the abdomen and chest and he narrowed the time frame between 9 am - 1pm when the blunt force trauma took place. This is the day after mom took Corey to be checked out form the bruises he got from the treadmill incident 12 days prior to the day of his death. She returned Corey to his father at 9 am Corey had bruises but he was alive and alert when mom dropped him off. So no it wasn’t bad food he was beat to death and a punch to the abdomen and chest would cause all the symptoms Corey had 😢

Not neccesarily. Sometimes even well-raised kids can turn out to have anger management problems, sociopathy, personality disorders etc. I do think the grandparents sincerely cared about Corey and probably would have taken care of him if Christopher didn't want him. On the other hand, I do wonder if they wanted to enjoy their lives as empty nesters and pressured Christopher to provide his own home for Corey. Hard to say. I wonder if they knew that Christopher was abusing Corey once they moved down to Barnegat.

THIS. The courts discriminate on anyone with a prior drug history. It’s almost like they don’t want drug addicts to get better or improve in any way. They saw a woman battling her own demons outwardly, while this monster Gregor was able to trick everyone around them into thinking he had no demons of his own inside of him in order for him to get what he needed (custody of Corey). The truth always comes to light.

Everyday, heinous crimes are committed against young/ small children at the hands of the parents, family, guardians, abusers, kidnappers, etc. Many of these cases end with the death of these poor, innocent children. I see it almost everyday in the news around the country. I pray for these poor babies daily. It completely breaks my heart. There is so much evil running rampant today. This is what happens when society moves away from God: rules (civility) no longer apply. People have become savages. Lord have mercy on us! ✝️🙏📿

I think in addition to the treadmill abuse there was probably football and bicycle abuse. Remember that Christopher said he played football with his son and took him bicycle riding. So I guess they don't have any evidence for abuse on these two so that is why it is not coming up in court. But don't you think that if Christopher was playing football with his son that he threw the ball as hard as he could at Corey's chest, repeatedly? Remember Corey's heart was torn on the inside. Can you imagine the damage he could have done to his son with a football? I seriously think there was football abuse just as bad as the treadmill.

Even when his father testified about the short time that Corey and his son lived with them, he was asked what kind of things they did together. It sounded like his first priority was hounding the boy about his homework and school work and perfection perfection perfection. The other thing I found odd was he said he would meet him at the bus stop "with maybe a piece of sporting equipment in my hand" or similar. Meeting him with a piece of sporting equipment??!!! When my kids got off the bus, we'd hold hands and walk home as they told me what fun and exciting things they did at school! I'd ask them about their day, about any new friends they made and whatever else they were excited about! I'd make them a snack, let them have some play time to unwind from their long days, then we'd look together at what homework assignments they had. I don't ever recall waiting with anything in my hands for them to come home! It just seems like this little boy was expected to jump through hoops to please his biological "dad" and his family, as well. So much pressure for one tiny little boy. Heart breaking.

The coroner did actually testify that he believed that Corey was already in the process of dying when that photograph was taken. Also, when Chris Gregor was ordering McDonald's. Also when Chris was texting/sxting potential dates. All of this was WHILE Corey was dying. That's why the prosecutors opening statement was to pay attention to what Chris was doing while Corey was dying... he was ordering and eating McDonald's, he was texting potential dates, he was taking selfies with his dying son so he could send the picture to his "date" showing what a sleepy (dying) son was doing. 😢fcking heartbreaking 💔!

Our system for starters is broken. State should begin with ….cory was conceived as a result of sexual assault by the defendant. Cory’s mother a child herself at the time chose to keep her child. We can only imagine how difficult her situation was. Could this be why the defendant was not aware of the pregnancy🤔…and that more than likely led to her substance abuse????? I would say “This is where this story started’ Unfortunately this story would have a tragic ending. Cory did not stand a chance. Sooner or later Cory who did not ask to be born. Let’s not forget it was the defendants choice to sexually assault the mother. From day 1 the defendant is to blame & set the stage for where he is now. All because he is used to getting & doing what he wants. So he had to live alone with Cory to teach the mom a lesson. After all the defendant did say to the mom when she was late “Your going to have a ride awakening “. And because this sorry individual is “Consistent’ he went through with the threat. These are the facts that the jury MUST hear not the petty nonsense of how he felt threatened after the fact. I don’t know who is worse the defendant or his pathetic so called attorney. Absolutely no nothing to put out there to blame anyone. The fact of this matter is an innocent child is no longer with us …..murdered at the hands of his father. Cory & his mother were failed at all levels. Unfortunately you hear about similar cases too often.
