I don't think it's a matter of knowing John or his parents, obviously we want the Jury to listen to the evidence and bring real justice for all involved, we don't know the truth, only those directly involved that night and sadly John's no longer here to give his account. I'm a parent of course my heart hurts watching both sets of parents, however John's parents will never talk to or see their son again, I just never want to be in their position, for their and everyone's sake, the truth must be told and leave no doubt, that will fester inside their heads forever more, watching from Scotland xx

Definitely much more likeable than Jen, but I think she tells the “truth” she is told by others controlling the narrative. It’s clear to me that Karen probably thought John was cheating on her and that was the reason he didn’t come home. Anyway, their smoking gun seems to be that Karen “knew” where he was because she saw John in the snow before anyone else. But…Karen wasn’t driving and had the entire time to search the roads, and they both admitted that they told Karen to be looking at the sidewalks and outside for him. It makes sense for the “searcher” to see him first because she’s not worried about road conditions. Too bad defense didn’t cross her! KR: ‘I said, “They’re working on him! They’re working on him!” And at one point Karen grabbed the front of my jacket and screamed in my face and said, “Are they working on him? They wouldn’t be working on him if he was dead!” And then she had a hold hands and pray and then at some point she had blood on her hands and she was…she told us she had her period. So I think she was just in a state of shock maybe. We said, “No, that’s not your blood, that’s John’s.”’ This account is the compelling, vivid truth, the repeated “They’re working on him!”, the grabbing of the jacket, the holding hands to pray, being threads of hope against desperation; the final detail concerning the confusion in Karen Read’s mind about the blood and her period you COULD NOT MAKE UP and shows GENUINE DISORIENTATION. Shock and horror leave her acutely DISTURBED as her brain protects her from trauma through DISSOCIATION. In this VULNERABLE STATE she then compulsively reiterates QUESTIONS which have subsequently been used to construct an edifice of lies against her.

There is a difference what happens to the brain/skull when you are hit with something, vs. falling and hitting your head on something hard. The latter has a rebound effect and the other doesn't. His injuries sound like he fell and cut the back of his head and the brain hit the front of his skull causing the brain bleed and eye swelling. Wonder if the dog attacked his arm and he fell backwards down those concrete steps and stumbled toward the street before he fell unconscious. It does not make sense that his head would be sticking out to get hit at taillight-level by an SUV. THAT seems very unlikely.

Forensic testing showed that O’Keefe’s hair was found on the vehicle’s bumper and his DNA was found on the taillight, Lally said. Investigators also found the remnants of a cocktail that appears to have been spilled on the bumper, the prosecutor said. It will be. It is always hard to overcome "facts" presented by a dishonest prosecution team. These "facts" certainly aren't anything but the simplest of evidence to falsify. IF the cops are dirty you would expect them to present "facts" like these that require 100% integrity of the investigation team. This team has too many smashed and discarded phones, deleted emails, butt dials !?! (in the dozens) to be given that their integrity is beyond reproach. They have difficulty answering the simplest questions without stalling and playing word games. All of them. Why? Why if these investigators are so thorough to get DNA of a cocktail on the bumper, yet never knocked on the damn door of the house much less search inside ? A house full of cops that don't come out ? Not even for a dead cop on their lawn who they invited to visit ? Cops can fake finding plastic. Karen Read can't fake that whole gang acting suspicious.

I think that's a huge smoking gun to Read's guilt. She saw him laying under 4 inches of snow from the back of the car, but the driver and front seat passenger didn't? Then she's hysterical and says "Did I hit him?" That's pretty much a confession.

Not much snow had fallen. Around 6am was maybe 2" at the time I'll give you 3 at most. His body temp would melt snow as it fell. His body would take longer to accumulate snow than the ground around him would.

Did she find it odd… Jen McCabe didn’t run into her sisters house where an officer lived? Right… didn’t know where she was/ yourself? Except it was just on camera! And Jen looked to be pulling Karen… you were busy shutting your car door? Noticing Karen circling? Ohhhh some point someone else said to calm down and warm up… she wasn’t helping doing that… she was in shock! So were u cuz u were imagining she was running the whole time? My gosh, made sure to tell friend in SHOCK that’s his blood? Sniffle into the mic… never told Jen to get help in the house? While you did compressions for 10min? No
