the problem is that judges are not impartial either in the usa or even worse in the uk where i live .judges are more commonly recruited from prosecutors than defence lawywers,here in the uk we have a nurse doing several life sentences for killing 5 babies in a unit dealing with seriously ill babies.professional experts were allowed as witnesses for the prosecution non for the defence .the so called experts were years behind currant medical treatments for sick babies so it was out of date or wrong. however the judge disallowed defence questions about their knowledge and ability .they all said murder three stating that 2 babies died as a result of insulin injection despite no evidence of it in their bodies and the fact they were being treated for hyperglycia.the experts didnt know this caused the same symptoms as insulin and was fatal in babies .they insisted they had been delinerately injected! the judge allowed this false evidence referred to it in his summing up and as he didnt allow rebuttal witnesses the jury believed it! nor did he allow the full medical rotas admitted .this would have proved far more babies died when lucy was not on duty .in far more suspicious circumstances .he only allowed the rotas that concerned her in evidence making it appear that this only happened when she was on duty .the unit was run badly due to lack of funds and understaffed.due to nhs cuts . the defence tried to get in that she was scapegoated so the blame of so many children could not be blamed on the unpopular govt we had in power .the judge had been told to find her guilty so again shut down this arguement ..same with this case the judge is clearly the third prosecutor .nothing can be allowed to change the convenient lie that karen reade killed her .the judge with evidence of an everwidening conpiracy unfolding with actual documentation and texts etc to prove it just shuts it down and ignores it.i was a cop .the likely scenario for me is that kevin got in a drunken brawl in the house and as everyone was smashed he was killed by accident! not accidently i hasten to add but simply the guys and the dog were not meant to kill him! getting mindlessly drunk was common with these people.they are cops however.lets drag him outside and say he must have fell.then hey karen reades phoned shes out of her gourd drunk cant remember a thing! great lets make her the patsy! she ran him over and left the scene! now we get together with my good buddies investigating and fit the facts round that! weve done it before its no big deal were cops! judge will be on our side slam dunk!problem was karen plead not guilty the scheme is falling apart.

Not only THIS testimony today but the defense were going through this socalled detectives text messages in open court on monday and wednesday too. This is the most unprofessional and biased lead detective Ive ever seen here on youtube and believe me,...I follow a lot of true crime. He should be fired,...she has to be set free of all charges. I think he sat on the curb with his glass to get his bearings and as she backed up she took him under the scar is curved just like a car tail light and bumper he probably dragged himself up on the lawn which would explain losing his shoe and particles on his clothes but he probably did manage to enter the house for help where he encountered an argument and the dog attack and that explains his fit bit and he probably was thrown out.They may or may have not known he finally succumbed on the lawn or saw him but thought he would leave that would explain the text of how long to… they probably all had a hand in failing this wonderful young man!

Good evening "sunshine",....At my end its now 1 am friday. Did you also watch his testimony on monday and wednesday ? The fact he is still on the job is quite amazing. He claimed he never had any complaints about the way he was conducting his job but thats a straight out lie. He WAS infact reprimanded for the text messages. And just the fact FBI was brought in on this investigation revealed these horrific texts which he never saw coming. Boston PD has a long history of wrongful doings and I just cant help wonder,.....Is this one of those cases ? Theres more than enough reasonable doubt here to throw these accusations to kingdom come and then some. When he testified on monday and the jury got to hear the first text messages one juror dropped her jaw only by listening- another just put down his notebook and looked stunned. It is almost irrelevant whether she hit him or not at this point. To get conviction, the prosecution would have to convince jury she is guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Jury doesn't have to believe she's "innocent" necessarily, just that Defense has presented evidence there is basis for reasonable doubt. If primary investigator did not do his job professionally, was dishonest and violated basic principles of impartial investigation. Defense is barred from telling jury that this Skumm-bag Proctor is under federal investigations himself with regard to his behavior in this case.

Even if she hit him I don’t understand how is it possible to have little pieces of tail light broken and assume that is enough evidence , she didn’t run over him. Proctor is either a big liar or outright incompetent. " ...doesn't matter to me if the homeowner is a cop, if the victim is a police officer..." But common sense before any legal or police training dictates the house was cleared from the investigation or at most its a part of the crime scene if not the actual crime scene. In this case it wasn't even considered. Also when the accounts you're handed dont make sense to you which seems to be the case about the evidence, you raise concern, you recuse yourself you do everything but go with the flow. I remember when a group of senior cops described a 17 year old kidnap victim "a spoiled brat" among other things and it was made public and there was an uproar. She was never found and was likely murdered. Worse, they got the wrong guy who has been in prison for over 20 years. He could have gotten out on parole by now but he refuses to admit to a crime he did not commit. He was stitched up and there has been a massive cover up. They know who took her and her young bf on New Years day in the early morning hours but will never admit their mistake. There are even strong clues where the young couple's body was dumped but the police refuse to look there. Also the young couple were seen alive in various places accompanied by some real criminals........numerous people saw all this and reported to the police, who ignored the sightings - they could have saved their lives if they had acted immediately. The last people to see them alive saw them in a small boat which went to a cove never used by the public as it was very rough terrain and full of mosquitos......not the sort of place people would go camping. The young couple appeared to have their hands tied behind their backs. The witnesses in another boat heard a bog splash and shortly after that small boat came back without the young couple. The police ignored this information.

I was thinking the same thing. Proctor will take the training, may lose a couple of days pay, and a little reprimand by his superiors. It is sad to say but it comes down to boys will be boys. No harm, no foul. My father -RIP was a retired law enforcement officer for over 38 years before he retired. He was promoted several times and respected in our community and by his superiors. I've always been taught to conduct myself with high standards and respect. Listening to these texts, testimony, objections and the judge angers me. I cannot believe how Officer John O'Keefe was disrespected. He chose to protect and serve the citizens and put his life on the line everyday. This investigation was severely flawed to say the least. I pray the truth comes out and all involved are punished severely. Rest in Peace Officer O'Keefe. The truth will prevail.
