#CourtTV - What do YOU think? www.courttv.com/tag/william-ackerman/?

I sure hope our courts are more organized than Court TV. You can be watching something one minute and quit, go back and never find it again.

Why isn’t this case “live”? I’m only finding video from “what happened” earlier.

I think Court TV wants you to watch the TV channel coverage. They then post segments and perhaps the whole day on KZbin.

Puhleeze!!! Both Attys are sympathetic to this guy who is testifying. She is NOT HIS woman!! They are separatted and DIVORCING!!! His actions are not warranted!! I'm really glad I'm not in either family because I would find it very hard to forgive him!! He may look calm, reserved and in control of his emotions...HE IS NOT!! Otherwise he would not have run the victim down and stealing his life!! Actions speak louder than words!

As a juror it would have bored me to death listen to the technical analysis on how info can be extracted from a phone
@govindagovindaji46622 ай бұрын
I know. I think in all these cases, including the Murdaugh trial that they not only could have but should have just skipped right over all of it but any main time points relative to a specific event. It drives me crazy. However, lucky for me and you, we can type the "L" key on our keyboards and move forward 15 seconds unless it is a livestream.
@Noellevrr2 ай бұрын
lol it’s funny that you say that because i just sent this video to my 17 yr old son because i thought what he was saying was pretty cool to learn about. However, you’re right. If I was on the jury I would be 😴 and wondering why this mattered so much. Id already accept that he was an “expert”. As a normal spectator though, it’s interesting to understand what our phones can do that we can’t “see”.

I think the prosecutor is doing a great job. Is able to break things down for the jury.
@deeremeyer17492 ай бұрын
LOL. That is not his job. He is TESTIFYING FOR THE "EXPERT WITNESS" INSTEAD OF SIMPLY LEADING HIM. AND HE COMPLETELY LOST THE JURY BEFORE HE FINALLY GOT AROUND TO INTRODUCING "EVIDENCE". THAT IS THE JURY IN THE BACKGROUND WHEN HIS "ASSISTANT" IS DOING THE "SET UP" OF GETTING A "GRAPHIC" PROJECTED ON THE SCREEN BEFORE THE "EXPERT WITNESS" BEGINS THE STANDING PORTION OF HIS "LECTURE" ON CELL PHONE DATA "EXTRACTION".
@deeremeyer17492 ай бұрын
That prosecutor is doing more testifying than the "expert witness".
@govindagovindaji46622 ай бұрын
Yea, I'm beginning to wonder if this Judge needs to attend some Continuing Education classes; he seems to be allowing both sides to get away with anything. Both lawyers are talking, leading and yapping all at once sometimes.

In the hallowed halls of the Court TV subreddit, moderators wield their gavels with a geeky zeal that borders on obsession. Stray from their carefully curated narrative, and you might just trigger a digital tempest of epic proportions. Here, amateur armchair detectives reign supreme, their investigative prowess honed from marathon sessions in the confines of homebound anonymity.

The only good thing is that he's not the asshole that killed his own kids. That's the only thing I'm thankful for here. This pos murdered a man with his vehicle. This man harassed Meredith over and over again and was the hostile party. Here he sits like poor me and what about my feels. It's very sad that McClendon was killed.. RIP and God Bless his family :(

I kind of feel sorry for him, and hate this for all involved. I guarantee you this would be a different story if they hadn’t been drinking. I think the boyfriend making fun of him for living at his mom and dad’s house was the final straw.

The ex wife must think what a catch she is. Why did she divorce him? What did he do? They were dating for 6 years, married for 10, have had 3 kids. Then she kicks him out of his house, he loses his family, only has visitations with his kids, and has to go living with his parents. She keeps the house, the kids and then to top it up she starts humiliating him in front of the whole town by having a relationship with a new man. She couldn't even wait for the divorce to be finalized. She sure caused this mess. Two drunk fools went to butt heads because of this self-centered woman and one ended up dead. I don't condone what he did but I dislike her for what she did to him after 16 years of being together and taking his family away.

00:10 Oh, my. If there ever has been a real life Poindexter~!! This is him and he is cute as a bug! 03:59 Court TV becomes like a classic TV show with the same stars appearing. This guy prosecuted Alex Murdaugh,, too only mostly from the dug out. 08:05 In a physical extraction, you slam the phone against the wall, you pick it up nicely, and then you run over it with a Mack Truck. 11:30 I have to ask. Is that the Jury sitting over there where a few of the men are wearing T-shirts with Law Enforcement Logos on them? If so, this is extremely surprising that they would be allowed. 47:28 What in the world do they care about all these text and charging times for? How is it advancing the case? I think any Jury would just believe the texts, themselves without all the hullabaloo tech features. 56:30 This proves what I said in another comment. Ackerman lied on the stand saying he only found out they were dating on the fatal night he slammed his truck into the guy.
