An abusive mother is not going to take pictures of a son's injuries that she caused. All the bruises, bite marks, eye injury and scabs are on the mother's phone. Christopher Gregor had no pictures of Corey's injuries. He didn't want anyone to know of their existence.

There is a 0.06 - 3% chance that your liver can be damaged during CPR. 7.5% of patients receive damage to their heart during CPR. To have BOTH, without the sternum being cracked as well? Almost 0% I believe Chris gave Corey a very strong uppercut punch or kick to the area above his stomach and right below the sternum, where the liver is located. It would explain his injuries, why he soiled himself (that’s also the location of intestines) and why he didn’t have a visible fresh bruise on his abdomen. This sick bully took his frustrations with Breanna and the expectations of his parents out on the little guy, who never asked to be put in the middle of anything. He used the little man Corey as a punching bag because he’s a bully and emotionally immature. I pray Breanna and everyone else who loved Corey finds peace and grace in healing regardless of the outcome of this kangaroo court trial.

If we start holding family members accountable for one person's actions, where does it end? Should we punish the grandparents, siblings, and neighbors too? Justice should focus on the actual perpetrator, not create a chain of blame. Think about it this way: If you were driving recklessly and caused a fatal accident, should we punish your mom and dad because they taught you to drive badly? Holding family members accountable for an individual's crime is just as unfair.

It's far in the past, he can't be prosecuted and even a civil suit would be challenging. I believe our focus should be on addressing the current crime and ensuring justice for those directly responsible. Educating fathers so these things don't happen again etc. Shifting blame to others who may have influenced him won't change the outcome and could lead to an unfair system of justice.
