I've always been curious about that tiny Statue of Liberty on the Susquehanna River since it was brought up on the KZbin comments section on another video I watched. And, yes, that railroad bridge is called the Rockville Bridge. It carries Norfolk Southern trains into Harrisburg. Amtrak also uses that bridge to get to it's electrified route from Harrisburg to Philadelphia.

I totally agree with you about taking lots of breaks during hot, humid weather. A bench in the shade is golden if you can find one.

We hiked over that mountain when I was 14. I'm 63 now. There used to be a road that went from Marysville over the mountain to behind Susquenita High School. My friend and I told my mom there was a pond up there and she claimed their wasn't. Took nearly 50 years and finally proved her wrong!

Nice hike Cliff, you are right, much better view in the fall, winter spring. I have a 8 to 14 mile view from my rear deck East, south and North but not in late spring, summer, early fall except here and there though the trees. The trees are nice too, shade is cool too.

The original one Gene Stlip created the statue to celebrate the actual Statue of Liberty's centennial celebration. He created it out of venetian blinds and plywood, and with a group of friends he erected it in the middle of the night.

Hi Cliff, I love the sound of the frogs, it's kind of like an elastic band being twanged on an empty box similar to the cardboard boxes kids use to make guitars with lol. I agree the green trail was definitely better and more interesting, although wherever you are in nature it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖

Nice hike, Cliff!! Loved those closeups of the green frogs. The belching reminds me of all the frogs we used to see & hear in Sumneytown on the Unami creek.

4 miles with hills and rocks isn't bad at all. Most of my day treks are between 4 and 10 miles. 10 on a hot day and the dogs are barking! Travel time is the limiting factor.

I love to hike to places with a view. Always enjoyable watching you. Actually, you probably don’t know it, but you were a huge inspiration for me and Chris starting our new channel. We’ve been watching you for years. I hope that eventually we can do a collaboration together, that would be awesome. Maybe eat a paw paw, we never tried one.

Man that's so weird you posted this. I just found this place and hiked it a few days ago. It's my new favorite spot that is close by. They also updated the trails. The blue trail is finished now and so awesome too! You should go back and check it out. So many different ways to hike this place. Trail loops are perfect length and good workout. Great video bro.👍
