that isolator is what originally made the LSA supercharger such an economical purchase correct if I'm not mistaken GM instead of just replacing the isolators just replace the whole superchargers so you had dealership it had some of them had probably a hundred a hundred fifty there if I'm not correct about that let me know I'd hate to go around telling somebody else that and if you ever thought about putting one of the larger lt4 superchargers in one of your vehicles I've looked them up and they range between 1500 and $3,000 that's still cheaper than say the Edelbrock but considerably more the man LSA thanks brother and by the way I think the Trailblazer will be awesome with your next ly6 LSA motor that'll be a fun truck not up to a man van but it still be a fun track

@@Coverman66 hey I’ve got a legitimate question. So I’m putting an LT4 blower on my C7 stingray and the snoot snout came broken. Is taking the pulley off the same as this blower in the video? A shop attempted to tell me they were going to press the center shaft out and I told them my LS loving brotha didn’t do that. Can you only pull the pulley to get the OEM one off?

Thanks for this video, I'm installing my ZPE Griptech pulley on my LSA this winter (along with a new HX and pump). I assume that the entire Supercharger needs to be removed from the engine to do this install, correct?

Terry. I was wondering what you think of forced induction Interchiller's blower and lsa plates. As well at the system itself compared to something like methanol injection? Both in regards to power and cooling?
@Coverman665 жыл бұрын
i think the meth setup is the way i would go... with a proper tuning you will be able to pick sick power..
@fitelite24055 жыл бұрын
@@Coverman66 awesome! Thanks for the reply. I'm looking into a meth set up and i think the F.I.I. plates would be a great addition. I'll be sure to put some updates on my channel and tag you when I start building my ly6. Cant wait. With a fully built motor, On meth, with 93. I plan to hit 680-750 to the wheels.

( Dumb question) What’s the most boost you can possibly get with that pulley?
@Coverman663 жыл бұрын
with a stock crank pulley, around 11 psi

Can the 2.55 pulley be used without having to get a tune?
@Coverman665 жыл бұрын
im a better safe than sorry guy.. i would get a tune if i was changing the pulley
@corysalls21175 жыл бұрын
With the 2.55 pulley do you have to use bigger injectors or can you use the stock ones?
@bbart255 жыл бұрын
@@corysalls2117 with the 2.55 your going to be getting very close to the maximum the stock injector can keep up with. If you do any other mods at all you will likely exceed their rating. Best advice is to upgrade them right away so you have plenty of confidence for what ever further mods you want to do in the future. There are a few horror stories of there of LSA's leaning out on the stock injectors with 2.55 pulley. I personally would not risk it.

Terry thanks for the info Sir I really appreciate it you've helped me out a ton as I take on my LSA LQ9 Project I cant thank you enough! I do have a question for you though, I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction as far as accessory drive goes, I have an LSA water pump and LSA harmonic balancer installed on my engine but im not sure if I should just source out factory brackets which is expensive or, sell the balancer and water pump and go with truck style and use the LSSimple kit which I believe is only a 6 rib belt kit and I was told is know for belt slip. any info on this would be greatly appreciated thanks.

coverman66 3 arm puller with 1/2 air impact from snap on. Finally cut it most of the way through, then pulled it off. Was way to tight.
