Can confirm, this deck is pure insanity. Went from Diamond 3 to Mythic in 2 hours today. Thanks so much CovertGoBlue, I can chill for the rest of the month. I am missing a few cards so slotted in Blade Historian (3x) instead. Won me some games, even if it was them just rage quitting when they saw it (Blade Historian).

With Savior and Alseid, are all your three-drops really better than Lurrus? Edit: After watching the video, I still think it's worth dropping a couple Sparring Regimen and a Plains for Lurrus. You don't need 24 lands if the top of your curve is activating a Faceless Haven

Nice deck. I was using a similar deck the last season. But I think I would add 2 Basri Ket to the deck mainly when I am fighting with someone with lots of removals. If you can use the -6 ability, most enemies will not know what to do anymore.

For all the complaining people do about white getting short changed by design, I have to say, this deck perfectly embodies the White color wedge for me. Little creatures that all support one another to be better as a team--the one drops offer protection, Hallowblade can pitch cards in hand to keep pushing, Aspirant pumping everyone up, and Spellbinder and Apparition clearing the way for the attack.

Why would you hate someone trying their best in a ranked ladder?! That happens when you meet competitive people, or people who try their hardest to improve! If you don't want to hate people for trying, you should consider the play queue. You'll play versus players with similar decks, and they will probably not try their hardest, so you wont hate it.

Mono white lifegain is my jam. What I keep losing to is Lurrus + black cards like deadweight that keep coming back to kill everything. Also, I can't use selfless savior to save my Lurrus from those. How do you beat that deck without white removal against their Lurrus? Also, it's a previous mono white lifegain deck that you used, not this one. Skyclave kinda kills their Lurrus game.

Whenever you get those rare wildcards do get the Spellbinders, I can't stress enough how good the card is. Nothing feels better than exiling a Shadows' Verdict from your opponent's hand.

I might have missed something but at 35 min you had lethal through the air one turn sooner you thought, right ? Just play the aspirant to add the lethal counter on the spellbinder, and keep the alseid as protection if they had removal ? I enjoy this deck but I play with a couple of Drannith Magistrates to shut down foretell/adventure spells. It's hilarious when a Gruul deck can't play his turn 3 Lovestruck and frantically mouse's over the card to figure out what's going on.

I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling MTGA, but it still does not seem to have solved the problem. Why sparring regimen over Glorious Anthem - is it just for the learn?

You can stack +1/+1 counters on one or two creatures which is stronger given the deck's "protect the queen" strategy. Glorious Anthem is better if you go really wide. Also the pseudo-vigilance on your voltron comes in pretty handy at times, especially in aggro matchups

Bit of a noob here, looking for explanations: What exactly happened in the game where the other guy had the wishing claw, then hit an orrery with some sort of trickery, and had a hand full of game winning, super expensive cards? How does such a deck even work? From the outside and with little experience, it looks like it would have waaay too many moving parts to pull off reliably.

The idea is to cast a zero-spell card and then counter it with trickery. You generally have two zero-mana spells in your deck (four copies of each), and every other card in your deck (that isn't a land) is a bomb. If you're able to get a zero-mana spell and a tibalt's trickery early game (very likely with the current mulligan rules), you have a high chance of hitting a spell in your deck that is a bomb, but you still have a small chance of hitting one of your zero-mana spells or hitting another tibalt's trickery. The idea is to make it so that as many of your possible hits are good hits
