If you miss Standard, here's some for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e16ac36Vrs59bJo I really like this deck as an aggro deck for the format because it has tribal creature synergies, but it doesn't run out of gas and the commander is difficult to kill. Too many aggro decks rely on the commander, especially tribal ones, and if the commander dies twice they are left with really bad creatures. This deck would have the same issue if not for the fact that Raddic has two colors of hexproof. Very cool card design, especially for an Alchemy card. Alchemy needs designs like this to have a positive impact on Historic Brawl instead of a negative impact. More please.

I have little interest in Standard Brawl when it's only 1-2 sets into the "Standard Year", because I prefer having a larger card pool in my singleton decks. I did however enjoy Naomi, Pillar of Order before rotation, with value artifacts like Eye of Vecna and enchantments like Teleportation Circle!

@@Icameron259 I can understand that. I'm playing some historic brawl too. I just find the power level of standard brawl is better for the collection of the account I'm using. Plus there a lot of commanders for the format are really cool. And it's easy to build 60 rather than a 100

So that Vito game the Curse should have been on Exquisite Blood. If they're not successful in beating you down their infinite combo is always their fallback. In black they have enough ways to tutor it up that you'll almost always see it if the game goes long and with the aggro commander you want to finish them off as fast as possible anyway. They were quickly approaching a position of being forced to block so if the curse had pushed Blood out, at least, two more turns then the game is probably won by Raddic.

Been playing raddic for a while, he seems mid at first glance, but the sheer amount of card advantage and selection he generates after just a few turns is actually insane. Also hexproof from black is crazily relevant when like 50% of the meta is Rusko decks

Raddic made knights very good with the constant value. Especially him being hexproof to white and black, means all these removal janks are dead in the water. Make those reliant on removal itch with their dead hands lol

No one said this in the comments but @43:25, your opponent blocked your commander anyway, and to save him you used your mana, so you wouldn't play the marshal and buff your commander out of chandra range anyway. There was no reason to feel bad for playing that swamp there

In the game where you got combod, having Radik back would have changed it. Protection from black means you could block and the opponent never would have gained life, as no damage would have been dealt for the lifelink proc. Therefore, unless he had another way to gain life, you would have earned yourself at least one more turn.

The hexproof is so annoying. You can pretty much only kill it with a sweeper or counter it. If you sweep they probably already got their draft on attack and if you want to counter it you have to play blue.

It didn't matter how it went, the opponent would have immediately conceded to Patriar's Humiliation basically deleting their commander from their deck (fuck perpetual card effects, I'd genuinely rather see Pithing Needle unbanned than play against any of those).

I was first brought to your channel because an influencer I liked called you out for stealing his deck. But after watching some of your content I liked the way you described what you were doing in real time. So I started to watch your videos. And I have done so, every day, for multiple years. Even when you ended your streak and you took a break, which was way too long, you are lucky anyone still watches after that, I waited. When you maid your return I was invigorated, and I said he will never take a long absence, maybe a day or 2 here or there, but he will never abandon his fan base again. Then at the new year you drop this bomb. No more new standard, only the online commander garbage format. Where was the determined guy who fought through a solved meta to become the top player? You call yourself the one in best of one. Where Is the grind? This is what we want to see. Please cgb get back to your roots

Historic Brawl suffers like all other Arena formats. Same sad ass cards overtake format make it absolutely unenjoyable. Paper MTG is way more fun. Give me some janky kitchen table games any day over Arena.
