The amount of equipment and facilities it takes to milk 1800 or so cows is incredible. So many things to keep in snyc and to keep operating. I got out of dairy in 1986, small family farm, two guys doing everything. The manure operation was to clean a calf pen by hand, stacking the straw/manure in the back of the spreader to build a wall that holds the rest of the load. Then back under the "barn cleaner" to run the gutters into the spreader. If we didn't have a place to spread the load, or when there was too much snow to spread in the winter, it was stacked to be hauled out later.

Ugh broken studs…I’ve had pretty good luck welding nuts on … I’ve also had very good luck using a left hand twist drill bit for the studs that broke off and are recessed back in .. as the left hand bit drills it a lot of time will catch and spin the broken stud out ..great diverse video…always something going on! Tractor looks great all shined up!

@FarmingFixingFabricating but just a piece of round stock to fit in the yolk. Would save welding on the table. Sorry just a suggestion! But I'm sure you know more and what does or don't.

Have a shop in shamrock, Texas. We work on big trucks we in the past have used pip nipple To center the drill in the manifold When it works that way, it says a lot of time. We use left in the drills a lot of time to manage to get it out without removing the manifold

Do you have the option to blow the pipe out ? We have an 2 inch air inlet on the pump side. When it plugs with sand.....just blow it out with an big air tank or a big compressor

How many cows do you milk and how many heifers do you raise. I am old and retired now but I was raised on dairy farm and milked til just a few years ago. I was small ran around 60 head and raised my heifers. To watch such a big family dairy working together is very interesting. I also run john deere equipment. Thanks for your videos. P.S.
