If you’re curious, the big green flowers are Asclepius veridis, or Green Antelope Horn, an important species of milkweed for the monarch, especially in that location. The flower is gorgeous, as you saw.

Daddy and Mom both loved roses. One of my sisters gave Daddy a rose bush named after the state where he lived and where I was born. Oklahoma Rose.

You have no idea how much I needed the words of encouragement and the big hug at the end of the video. Dancing twice was a gift too. My family is having very hard times right now. One is close to death, a neighbor has a son who is close to death and a family member who is 9 months pregnant is losing her apartment at the end of July. (landlord has no compassion). My dog isn't doing well and I have to take a trip on an airplane and I am scared to fly. I felt your love and it meant a lot to me.

Your production value has really grown over the last few months; from the music to Kent's antics! I'm really enjoying your work even more than I did. No, I would have never known Kent had makeup on (Android Knox 3.9 mobile/cell phone user.) You could have done nothing and I'd have been fine. We all know Kent's the real deal and this isn't Hollywood. I mean, somebody has to cut the firewood and you are a small unit filming all this. Another well done video!

These look much easier to make. I always see the jumbo ones. They are unreal. We would go to the one place nearby and get several dozen of the jumbo ones. Put in bowl, put in microwave and add milk or ice cream.🥰😍😋

Hi Kent , the significance of this day reminded me. During renovation of a building in downtown Pryor Oklahoma that had been a restaurant in the 1940’s I discovered a recipe for homemade biscuits scribbled on a board behind a wall. The date was June 6th 1942. One year after D-Day and during the battle for midway island. It’s a simple recipe but a reminder of what was happening. If you’re interested let me know

@@CowboyKentRollins I've fixed many of your recipes, as long as I turn the heat down just a bit the wife really enjoys. I'm 59, and have been cooking over the fire since I was 14. That was one thing my old Scout Master did was to make sure us boys knew how to cook over the fire and use a Dutch Oven. I live full time in a Travel Trailer now, and I Carry 3 camp Dutch Ovens, all 3 are Lodge. I've got 2 for the stove, one Lodge and Grandma's old Wagner. 3 skillets Lodge for the big one, Wagner for the medium and a Griswold for eggs. My son is decent at camp cooking, and this fall I'm going to start teaching the Grandkids camp cooking. Take care of yourself, Shannon and the furry kids. From Charlie. PS Maybe one of these days our paths will cross and I'll be able to attend one of your classes or something.

Made this for dessert last night. Excellent. Only change… used zero calorie lemon/lime soda and it was still plenty sweet. Also experimented with spreading some soft cream cheese on the dough and then rolling up with apple… added richness.
