celsius is pretty easy. it's a scientific way of measuring temperature because it uses water as basic reference. therefore 0°C is the freezing point, 100°C the boiling point of water. everything else scales accordingly. human body temp is 36-37°C, room temp is between 21-23°C.

Definitely go if you can! The panels are great, the guests power through hours of signing/photo taking so that everyone can get a moment with them, and above all, the people are just lovely - I've made lots of friends over the past three years. ^^

I mean, I could copy and paste the Wikipedia page for you, but I can assure you that Fahrenheit is actually based on something, at least. Not as clean a standard as freezing/boiling points (though the range between freezing and boiling does come out to 180 exactly), but the wider range of numbers in Fahrenheit does make it more accurate for telling temperatures that humans actually experience on a day-by-day basis. At least, that's my thought on it. Metric does kick the shit out of American measuring system in nearly every other regard. Seriously, the numbers in measuring distance look like they came out of a goddamn fever dream.
