All of this has to be some large money laundering scheme because there is no possible way you could put together these many disaster films from a major studio like Sony. I think you're spot on with this one, it's basically down to Kraven being the final movie somewhat sadly, and they were getting everything half right, there's a lot that could have been interesting and become interesting in the future, but they just didn't stick any landings, and to mention sticking, even if this is their final movie, Sony should have put something Spider-Man here that wasn't just a vague reference that just makes us do the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme And killing Rhino is a bold choice, I understand the higher rating, but if we were to have Spider-Man in this universe now, we'd have a Spider-Man 2 game situation where Kraven is killing villains, is that an interesting story to tell? Could have been, but we'll never know, thanks for nothing Sony (except Spider-Verse, keep doing that)

My biggest question was how did Kraven fund his life? He ran away from his dad as a teenager so he’s not getting his dad’s money but he’s able to afford endless weapons and a private plane.

Personally I haven't enjoyed a Sony live action Spidey (or Spidey-less) film since Spider-Man 2 in 2004. Since then with each consecutive movie they've just worse and worse and I stopped supporting them since Venom 1 and refused to fall for any hype their trailers tried to drum up. All these movies were just setup for future movies that were never going to materialise instead of just doing the cool stuff in the movies they were making. At this point I'm genuinely shocked that anyone would have any hope that Kraven would've been good...or Madame Web...or Morbius. Fool me once. Really hoping Sony are done here. You're like the fourth review I've seen from this though where it looks like they're having an existential crisis talking about this movie haha. Also its funny the Rhino has killed two different Spider-Man universes also

I wasn't planning on watching Kraven because I checked out of the Sonyverse after Venom 2, but it's still disappointing to hear that Sony havd dropped the ball yet again. If I were Marvel I'd be having my lawyers go over the movie rights contract with a fine-tooth comb to try and find a way to terminate the deal because at this point it's got to be hurting the Spider-Man brand.

maybe, villian standalone movies dont work as well as they would without they associated hero involved somehow. Joker was good and fresh at the time but everything after that has been not as well thought out. we'll see if MCU decide to make any villian movies/series. the action was pretty good, even if a lot of the CGI was a little uncanny. the pacing really threw me while watching

Nah . I think all these Sony films were always designed to serve BEYOND THE SPIDERVERSE . Think like a Sony exec looking at what works and what doesn’t . I think they are very aware these films suck but they wanted to familiarize us with these characters before they appear in Beyond the Spider Verse. Reference Morbius after credits and the beginning of Across the Spider Verse . Also we know due to Miguel’s presentation Sony’s MULTIVERSAL TREE exists INSIDE the Marvel MULTI-UNIVERSE .
