That sounds pretty cool. Which Ecoboost though? I've always thought the 3.5 from an F150 would be cool. Like, swap it, turn up the boost a bit and call it a day haha

@@fgj8379 it’s a heavy motor but it’s does respond well to boost definitely better than a lot of v6 motors hell they use it in the ford gt super car so it has to be good

I want to Coyote swap my 86 300zx lol. I have a factory T5 from an 84 turbo Z but it's non world class. I heard the foxbody WC T5 gearbox will bolt up to the Z31 T5 rear section. I'm too poor for a damn Coyote 302 tho, I'd probably just do a carb conversion to a foxbody 302 and whatever with the transmission. Probably gonna need an input shaft, clutch kit and the driveshaft may need to be sectioned but I shouldn't have to make any changes to the rear end, diff flange or spline yoke. Open R200 can handle it just fine and if mine doesn't then I'll get a better long nose diff later lol. Not sure if any of that is doable using components I already have but the VG30E isn't bad, it's just gutless without boost and either way it doesn't flow very well from factory.

Yes but you have to use a gen 3 or gen 4 coyote to use the 10r80. Gen 1 & Gen 2 won't work with the 10r80
